As a newbie, I have been trying various different eliquids, to find one that works for me.
Should I clean out my clearomiser every time I change to a different liquid or should I simply accept that the previous liquid will "taint" the new one for a short while, and take that into account. It's not always convenient to clean it thoroughly every time.
Also, how do I create a banner for my postings?

You can try rinsing out your atomiser in warm water though this will not totally remove some tastes especially menthol or coffee.
If you have the time you can get a bit better clean by dismantling the atomiser (if its the type that comes apart) and soaking it overnight with a denture tablet or in some Bicarbonate of soda dissolved in water.
Just use warm water not hot.
I don't bother drying stuff out after I just give it a good wipe & shake and any water left on the wick soon boils off.

I have one atty just for banana - one for sweet stuff like cherry pie , apple pie, raspberry ripple .... one for more citrussy liquids, and a few more , I clean my atties regularly - let's say about once a week in the ultrasonic but don't clean it for example if I had cherrie pie and then top it up with apple pie - so those flavours, which are somehow related go on top of each other

Thank you for asking this jerryc, I'm newbie too and these answers are helping me too! I have 306 on it's way to me for tasting new flavours but I'm so gonna give what Clivia says a go! Makes perfect sense. All I have to do now is find a way to colour code my mini pro tanks (and get some more, and try some different clearos... and heads... and learn how to make my own coils and.....) Oh well baby steps lol

Good idea on the nail polish! Clivia to differentiate between tanks. I bought some very cheap glass replacements for my protanks. unfortunately delivery takes ages - many weeks ( you forget about them) from China I opened parcel today... excitable ripping apart, wondering what it could be...Alas it was 7 glass tanks I'd ordered - that flew across room and all smashed on kitchen tile floor. I think they were lovely?

Ooooh! Pritty!!! Thanks Clivia nail polish may be a good alternative too! Thinking about it, you could get all creative couldn't you? Paint lil designs on the glass an stuff? Or maybe not, not sure if that might make them crack. I may have to investigate this... *wonders off to hatch a cunning plan - cottage industry decorating clearos...*
