I think you're right robby but I don't agree with it Me neither, they shouldn`t flog it if they dont own it, they could at least call it "pre-order"

I`d go for the one that you can change the battery in, the other thread. You might also want to hold off for a few days to see if the 30watt one is listed @spikeyfridge

Ain't read it all as i can't be ars** If you buy a fake Hana mod, expect junk! You will NOT be getting DNA regulated device, you'll be getting a Chinese copy that as of yet has NOT been tested by any end-users. All of these Hana Mods are pre-orders and nobody knows yet how they'll perform, but if they're anything like the Seneca 30W....which is also made in China, you may as well set fire to $80 cuz you'll have one hellava POS! As for the YiHai controller, it too is not performing up to par and it's display is not showing the correct voltage according to several beta-testers. Don't EVER believe what a vendor tells you, no matter how good their reputation is....get the facts from beta-testers cuz they'll be the one's to tell it like it is and have nothing to gain or lose by being honest. LinkI would myself leave it ahwile until they check it out and do a breakdown.

I`ve read the threads mentioned above and there is nothing there that I didn`t expect. Personally I didn`t expect it to be a DNA regulated board. That doesn`t point to it being any worse or any better then the DNA regulated board. We know it`s not DNA because it says "style" in the item description. The Fasttech thread is as they usually are, quite a few people who dont have a clue as to what they are talking (or shouting) about. This is a similar situation to when the Vamo came out and changed the whole vaping situation. There were a lot of detractors who basically just wanted to knock it for various reasons. Whether you trust a retailer or manufacturer is a personal thing. I tend to err on the experimental side of things and cant really say I have been caught out with anything. I would have bought one of these if I thought I would need to vape anywhere near 20 or 30 watts, but I dont. 11 watts give me satisfaction, I dont need any more than that, I cant see it either improving my vaping experience or saving me money. When they list the 30watt one I will be severely tempted purely from the hobby side of things. But I will resist probably ................ maybe This is a big step just as the Vamo was. Just my opinion folks, but see disclaimer below To me these new choices mean progress and sophisticated devices at a price the masses can afford.

I didnt expect it to be a genuine DNA board at that price, but when the reviews come out and if it turns out to be good, then i see this getting very popular. If not, then its not too bad, as for £31 you are getting a aluminium box pre-wired for a DNA board with 510 connection etc... so worst comes to worst, just rip out the chip and put in a genuine DNA board, it still works out as a cheap DNA mod.

Exactly . . . and I personally see no harm in that, if you go into the transaction with your eyes open to the possible pitfalls. I've had some brilliant stuff from FT, really inexpensive that's performed as good if not better than some of the more costly equipment I've bought in the past.

Sorry if i have come across saying it's a bad buy as that was not my intention, the box and all parts is well worth the money alone. My one and only concern is the chip and it's safety for all that use it as it's new and not much info on it....i am just always a bit concerned when it comes to electrical parts....mech mods/attys does not concern me but batteries and non tested chips do. Let the Americans try it first and see if we get any (only joking americans)

I agree Super-Shiny, I wouldn`t want to be using anything other than the safest battery available in something like this with the current draw involved, even if it was the real mccoy DNA20 or 30 The one with the fixed battery inside is Lifepo, so it should be safe enough.

Regarding FT's cheap top-cap's threads, esp Vamo,
I bought a few 510-510 adaptors, for a couple of quid, this eliminates the threads being stripped away, if you regularly change attys.

Very like that pic I posted yesterday of the 1 year old one, there seem to be some different thicknesses of wire which is encouraging

Well said robby, there is just one word in there that says it all and blow's the elitists out of the water and that is masses especially in the context of the sentence
