All Tory MEP were very supportive throughout and consistently voted against the TPD with one exception (Struan Stevenson from Scotland ?)

X&Y Thanks not aware of only 1 vote. How is it elected? In a UK European Parliamentary election, you have one vote to elect all of your MEPs. Each party puts forward a list of candidates known as a regional list and you vote for one of these lists or for an individual candidate standing as an independent. The number of MEPs that are elected from each party to represent a region depends on the overall share of votes that each party receives. - See more at: www.aboutmyvote.co.uk/what_can_i_vote_for/european_parliament.aspx#sthash.Pi4Q8xgw.dpufNikki Sinclaire will most certainly get my vote. She has been very active/ and still is too safeguard the vaping community.

If any of them turn up at my doorstep, the only question I will ask is "what is your viewpoint on electronic cigarettes?" and if they a) don't know what they are or b) says "they need to be taxed the same way that cigarettes are", they will get a swift (and hefty) boot up the @ss and told to "get off my laaand"

I caused more than a little consternation in my family by explaining that I couldn't, in all conscience, vote for a party that has Linda McAvan representing them (and thus potentially me). My challenge is that I am still scarred by the years of Margaret Thatcher and I find UKIP more than a little xenophobic and am too afraid of what they may become to place my vote there. I think the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats are, for vaping, the best news although I'm mindful that both the Tories and, to an extent, UKIP, were supportive (not sure how well versed UKIP folks were).
Shouldn't (shoot me now) just be about vaping though.

This is a difficult one. UKIP are pro-ecig and anti-windturbine, so those policies gain my favour. Sadly, their (only thinly-disguised) xenophobia and their misguided employment policies count against them. Tory and LibDem performance over the last few years is laughable. Labour are just too far behind the curve. What to do? Probably UKIP because vaping is such an important part of my lifestyle now, but it's a grudging vote for them all the same.
