If you really want it you can always contact the seller and put in an offer or try and negotiate.

from my IMO,. its totally up to the seller to quote his/her wanted price, if it doesn't shift quick, most people lower until sold. Seems a sensible way to deal with sales? after all - as a buyer, you decide if you are happy to pay 1st offered price or play a waiting game and chose to be 'maybe' pipped at the post? depends how much you want an item.... It's as simple as that I agree, I do think though that all classies that have been there for 4 weeks should be shifted to completed. The system as it is works perfectly, other than people do not update sold, or just leave their ad sitting there. I have seen many dragged up from weeks previos and the seller says oh sorry I don't have it no more. So leave all as is, Forum members use tags for to trade, sell, wanted. The poster updates their post to completed or amends it. Once a classie has been up for 4 weeks it gets shifted by the mods, the seller can pop it back on if they still have it.

As has been stated, the classies ads get moved soon after they are completed (as long as posters remember to change the label). Plus any ads older than 2 months are also moved. As for splitting the ads, it could be done but there should be no need for it if you use the labels as intended

To be honest, all we really need is a script that links to geordie_vaper's paypal account and automatically lists anything he buys one week after he's bought it
