Mixing for the lazy

I only vape one flavour, but several strengths and PG only. So I mix 90 ml 12 % flavour @ 60 mg nic and 200-300 ml of 12 % flavour 0 mg nic and let them steep/cure for a least a month. Then its easy to get any strength by mixing these two into a 100 ml measuring cylinder, currently doing 10 mg for genesis & 20 mg for Kayfuns (generally mix the 10 + 20 depending on mood). I just use 100 ml and 250 ml measuring cylinders and find it quick and easy. And adjust batch size so each ingredient is a whole number.

Some great ideas! To synthesise them into one big 'Mixing for the super lazy' :

- Pre-mix PG/VG/Nic base into a 100ML bottle at your desired concentration (eJuice Me Up calculator is great for this)
- Decant it into 10 10ML or 2 50ML or 3 30ML + 1 10ML bottles (or 100 1ML if you're Perpetua )
- Add flavouring to each, one syringe but clean it between flavours of course (glass of water + damp towel to squirt the water into)
- Shake 'n vac and stick em in a dark warm place if necessary, otherwise get vaping (baccy juices I use straight away).

Result!

Take 1 x 30ml bottle of TJ conc, add half into 2 x 100ml bottles by eye, call up recipe from the calc at the top of the page, add base, PG and VG to each according to the amounts, rinsing syringe between bases, shake and leave for a week. Takes about 10 minutes tops, and one syringe to wash, which has been rinsed between anyway.
What could be easier!?

I have a notepad in drawer under pc, if I spot a recipe that I know I have concentrates for I jot down flavours/brand/percentages, then when I'm in the mood I can set up my gear and crack into mixing a few batches of testers

I find if I don't have recipes written down before hand I swiftly go off the idea.....

I don't see how I can cut my stuff down.
500ml Bottle of 72mg nic, pour into small mixing cup.
500ml Bottle of pg pour into small mixing cup.
250ml bottle ag pour into small mixing cup.

Syringe nic into bottles
syringe pg into bottles
syringe ag into baottles,
that's 3 syringes, 3 mixing cups, then

Flavour 1 ( say for the hell of it ) banana = a syringe
Flavour 2 menthol = a syringe
flavour 3 mint = a syringe
flavour 4 custard = a syringe
flavour 5 fvd = a syringe
flavour 6 ddl = a syringe.

So I make 4 bottles of juice whether 5ml or 500ml, and I have used -
3 mixing cups,
A pair of gloves
9 syringes

I got a couple of 100 ml measuring cylinders from the home brew section in Wilkinsons and a 250 ml one on eBay and just pour directly into those, for smaller mixes I put the nic into a washed out 50 ml juice bottle so I can give a few big squeezes, then light squeeze and finally drips to be very accurate. And normally only have one measuring cylinder to wash up.

I just rinse out the same small syringe in warm water, a couple of swooshes and drains from 1 flavour concentrate to next one Sammy, I'm probably just a slovenly bitch mind?!?

Not using a syringe. I just squirt the concentrate into an empty bottle - about a fifth of the way up fpr 20% - and top it up with base. It may be out a tad and may offend the fastidious, but I've made about a hundred bottles so far and theyve been fine.

First go took me about 20 mins 10ml lol,bought the kit from the alchemist using the juice me up program for pc what a noob I am.

I think I need to work on my mixing techniques ! I've been putting nic base in 1 bottle then vg and pg and flavours shaking then starting on the next bottle! I like the sound of making a big batch of base at desired strength but to make the final result of 18mg what strength base should I make? Does it make much difference if I add 10 flavour or 20%.

I like to vape @ 18ish too so make my base @ 24mg this allows for 20% flavour if I need less flavour I just make up the difference with neat PG or VG

ie 10ml bottle 8ml base 2ml concentrate, the ones I really like such as Red Astaire I make in 50ml bottles and it is just a case of 10ml bottle of flavour and top up with 24mg base = 50ml of 18ish mg with no syringes or measuring at all

Thanks stewarty. I get it now, so if I add 10% flavour to the 8ml base I just chuck in another 1ml vg.. And the end result is 18mg from 24mg base

Yip that's the way I do it rednutt and am still here to tell the tale.

When I started mixing at first I used about 10 syringes and measured everything EXACTLY it took ages as I was sh**ing myself I would poison myself.

After some trial and error I found 20% ish suited me for most concentrates so started bulk mixing the base @ 24mg and never looked back
