Hi Folks
Am loving Mrs Lords Custard Cream at the moment and as a nooby mixer thought I would try to mix my own, have had a look for some recipes but couldn't find any, so was wondering if anyone has had a go at re creating it and would like to share their recipe.
Failing that I guess it would be a case of taking one of the many custard recipes here and adding something like Graham Cracker for the biscuity taste, but as a noob I have no idea on the percentage to add and of course where to subtract it from the original percentages.
Hope that made sense, if anyone has any advice would appreciate some pointers
Thanks Mark

Flavourwest graham's cracker is nice at around 2-3%, and maybe some cake batter to even it out (risky but worth a try)
tbh it's all trial and error

I too would like to find a nice bicuit flavour to experiment with. I have some capella graham cracker which is quite nice but has an underlying taste of some kind of spice to it. Cinnamon I think which wouldn't really work for custard creams. Think I read somewhere that inawera do some kind of biscuit flavour which may be worth checking out.

Have you ever tried Capella Sugar Cookie Perps? I was thinking of this or Graham Cracker for a custard cream recipe. Which do you think would give the best biscuit taste?

I've got some that I must admit I've not gotten round to using ( along with a fair number of others! ) Lardy . . . I'd think it certainly worth trying though as it's supposed to be a very authentic flavour, along with the Graham Cracker. A small 5ml mix of both is worth a punt. Though as Sonicflowjoe said Graham Cracker does have a slight cinnamon undertone. Pie Crust could be another one worth experimenting with.

I thought I'd have a play with this if I get chance this weekend promark, I've not tried the eliquid in question so have no idea what the balance is. So it's a starting point: 15% Capella Vanilla Custard 10% Capella Sugar Cookie 1% Vanillin 1% CCW Cream ( maybe ) 0.5-1% Sweetener

I'm very interested in Custard Cream. Think I'll have to put on the mixing gloves again.
