It is legal in parts of the US though, and if people can use it to use a legal drug in a safer manner then they will. In a country/state where it is legal, it's not really any different to us using them to ingest nicotine, they have just found a safer way to get their drug of choice.

If kids want to go down that route, they'll do so regardless of what people say. I think dear old Whoopi is quite a way down the list of celebs likely to influence young'uns too!

Its just the passing it off as if its normal that gets me and how much her life has improved (as if ) .Cannabis is a gateway drug .

She states in article for pain relief, if that is true then good for her I see no problem with that.
I have never ever tried any illegal drug but I had friend with chronic back pain & he swore nothing the GP prescribed worked anywhere as good, he was non smoker so his wife baked it in cakes for him & I would use it the same if I needed it for pain relief.

As fiddles said, if she uses it for pain relief, why wouldn't it improve her life?

Oh and if an adult living in a state or country where the use/possession is legal wants to use cannabis, how isn't it normal? Is it any different to someone choosing to smoke/vape or indulge in a drink or three after a hard day at work?

The gateway stuff is a load of rubbish too!

I absolutely and totally agree  but these people can find doctors that will prescribe them anything they want (Michael Jackson ,Elvis and a hole host of now dead celebs) would testify to that.

The side effects for the stuff they can prescribe are awful. If you fancy your teeth falling out and your bones becoming thin and brittle, then go ahead and take the stuff the doctors offer.

It is still illegal in most states unless prescribed and finding a doctor to prescribe it for you is just a case of having the money . and to say cannabis isnt a gateway drug and is rubbish (just how do most drug addicts start straight into heroin )
