Clivia I'd hang on a bit and wait and see what happens in the next few weeks ..... You want a major vaping purchase like that to be as future proof as possible .... New stuff coming out all the time... To use the games console anology it's like spending £500 on an xbox 360.... Yeah they were great and still are ... But things have moved on .... At least wait until the VW V3 comes out ... I think then we'll see a lot of the earlier versions appearing in the classies

thanks spikus - I anyhow intend to wait quite a while now - till I treat myself - just wanted to know I'm no expert on provaris... Had a go of one but never owned one ... Yeah they're a lovely bit of kit ... But it strikes me that they are a bit dated and with a new model on the horizon I'd wait for it ... But it doesn't sound like you're rushing into anything .... Hope the redundancy package is what you hope it will be ... .... Loads of vape mail potentially !

even if the poll goes towards the yes - I won't buy it straight away - but I just want to know a bit more
so could you please tell me why i should buy a provari or why I shouldn't buy one
thanks If you are the sort of person who is liable to be continually nagged with the thought " I could have bought 5 Vamos for the price I paid for this" then the Provari is probably not for you as you will never "get" it. If however you are the sort of person who appreciates that you have to pay for quality then you will never regret buying a Provari.

generally it's quality before quantity for me @yinyang - but the quality must be worth it too

It is probably one of those purchases that you initially make with your heart but once you get your hands on it, your head knows that you made the right decision.

Are they that much cheaper in the US @yinyang? Have a couple of friends who would happily post one on to me if I wanted

I voted yes. At the end of the day it's a battery holder that heats up your atty, but a very high quality battery holder it is, feels nice, (don't let fiddles see me say this) looks great and most of all works great. I don't mind that it ain't got VW as i use the same 1.8ohms coils in all of my attys (or should i say my one atty, the Aerotank) and if need be adjust to suit different ohms, that's what the buttons are for It's a solid Workhorse....maybe try and drop into a store to have a feel of one before choosing.

I have a Provari mini V2, it has a slight glitch, it is in permanent stealth mode. I wouldn't say I regret buying it, but If I could go back in time I wouldn't have bought it. The menu is a pain as is the lack of VW. Sigeleis are well built and much better value for money - SS V2 is every bit as solid as the Provari. The mini looks good and great value from FT.

Forgot to add, when looking inside the Provari you can tell quality when you see it, as you know i have built many mods but the Provari insides are quality...you can just tell buy looking at it coming from a mod perspective.

I have a Provari mini V2, it has a slight glitch, it is in permanent stealth mode. That's the best part, all that waffle info when vaping on the screen just drains the battery...also don't we all want a little stealth when needed
