Thank you ionian that helps. I am using protank 3's, currently awaiting the aerotank, can that be bettered? I am not a fan of top coils. So i would need a specific kick for the wattage I want? where can i get further info about that set up, for example the nemesis with a kick and what i should and shouldnt be doing?

why dont you just carry a few 18350 batterys about then they will out last a 18650? i carry 3 about with ne whej i go out and one in my mod easy to switch out

You would want either a kick or kick 2. For the power you want to use I wouldn't bother getting a kick 2.  The original will supply more than enough power.  All you do is pop it in the tube on top of your battery, turn the adjustment screw to suit the power you want, put your atomiser on top and vape away.  
Live never used an aerotank bit have had a protank3 and thought it was tasteless.  No matter what juice I had in it it all tasted dull.  The iclear 30 is much better, but best of all would be your kayfun once you master the microcoils

hi....just give a try nemesis + aspire nautilus 1.6 and 1.8ohm and you will fall in love with mechanical mode. right now i use in 18500 mode aw imr 1000 mah and i vape all day long. i'm happy with this. no burning taste at all using my own juice ( and i'm noob on mixing). right now i'm thinking to buy a 3rd mechanical mode. mechanical modes i own : jm16 14500 battery mode + justfog maxi and nemesis clone + aspire nautilus. also maybe this help : i found justfog maxi (is single coil) tank 10 times better than aspire ce5 bdc.

I carry 4 with me charged and 1 in the mod so far but got caught out when my lil one was admitted to hospital and i had to stay with her. erik514, i have heard good things about the iclear30s and was thinking of getting one, the only thing with the top coils is that they vape a little warm for me although that is what i started on many years ago lol @chris2005 that sounds like an impressive vape, the nautilus was on my wish list but then the aerotank mega got announced. I used to use aspire which was good but prefered the draw on the pt3 especially with the airflow controller so didnt want to take the risk that i wouldn't like the nautilus

Have another crack at the Kayfun Mrsmac - once you've got the vapour production sussed, you might be able to think more rationally about what to put it on!

A nemmy in 18650 mode is the smallest I've got at about 90mm (without kick) but if you wanted a vv type then the Provari is 115mm and the eVic (vv/vw) about 120mm all without a topper and don't forget the eVic is being replaced soon, so the price of the originals might come down.

vapor on justfog maxi is not warm at all even the coil is on the top. also , this one perform nice an all ego style batteries. i use the same coil around 2 weeks and after i change the small silica with some cotton and booooom , my 2,50 euro coil was performing nice 1 more week....

Yes it will take a while to master the kayfun, been playing around the last couple of days but i am limiting myself because i cannot build my own coils and have to rely on threading through...for now, i will continue to play with that in the background lol
