That's looking great - personally I would trim the wick slightly more tightly, but if it vapes OK, job's a good'un!

Also getting a few popping sounds now and again not all the time just sometimes - is this normal ?

Been vaping for about a hour and looked at the coil and it seems to be making the cotton wool go brown ?

Popping is good, sound of a fresh clean coil!

I did my first coil build last night, was all vaping and popping nicely, but from this afternoon I am getting popping all the time, even to the extent now where the juice is getting thrown out of the drip tip each button press, one spit of juice then all vapes and pops nicely.
I just put some fresh cotton wool back in the coil and it seems to have stopped throwing out the juice for now, still popping a good 'un though.

I might be wrong, but that could just be where the coil is heating up the juice?

Is it normal for the juice taste not to come through straight away after building a new coil with wool as i cant taste the juice properly yet ?

I find so intheblim, it takes a new coil a little time to ' bed in ' . . . it's also quite normal for whatever wicking material that you use to discolour.

That's a lovely looking coil.
