I've just had one of my batteries heat up due to a short on one of my atomizers (it was working fine one minute, then nothing). It's a red Efest IMR 18500.
My question is - should I now dispose of it, or will it be ok once it's cooled down? It's not venting, there's no visible damage.
If in doubt I will get rid of it, but I wanted to check if it can be salvaged.

should be fine, probably got hot due to it discharging, but put it on charge and keep check on it,if it starts to warm, then bin it,or do what i do take it out side and leave it in garden just incase ,then dispose of it
