Apologies, this is a stupid topic, but I'm listening to Meatloaf at full blast, looking at pictures of my family (remembering 'It's A Wonderful Life' about what would have been different if I'd not been here), and yes, I've had a few.  Why is there such a discrepancy in the life of a light bulb. My bathroom and bedroom lights have lasted for about 10 years (not sure if that tells anyone anything), but the rest give up within a few months... especially the new super duper, energy efficient crap. Having now imparted that 'world changing' information to you, I will now depart the scene, and beg your forgiveness in the morning.  |

RafflesIt's because you call them "bulbs" they are LAMPS ; you plant bulbs in the garden to get Tulips etc......
