I'm planning on starting DIY mixing today and bought some Capella and TPA vanilla custard concentrates along with a few others, is there was much difference between the two, strength and flavourwise?
Lets just say for example, if I used 20% of Capella in a mix, would using 20% of TPA in another mix give me similar results compared to the Capella?

The great thing about mixing is that you get to find out the answers for yourself. There's whole threads of custard recipes, take a look and see how people use the concentrates in different ways. One person's tastes are different from another's, so only you can decide what is 'best'

I don't find there's a massive difference between the 2, though I think Capella's just has the edge.  Both I mix at the same percentage cHooBeyDoo. . . . . |

Thanks Perpetua Just the answer I was looking for  When I initially put my order in I thought I chose the Capella Vanilla Custard but i had actually ordered the TPA Vanilla Custard  Have the Capella now though. |

I have used both and i cant tell the difference between them.
Also a very good recipe is PVC in our custard recipes thread.

Best of both Custard worlds then cHooBeyDoo.  TPA's was the first VC I ever tried, over 3 years ago now - I added nothing to it, just mixed it at 20% and thought it was lovely.  It was the start of a Custardy addiction.  |

Yours, Supers, Nessie's Nectar and T-Juice Colonel. Just gonna go for it! Was planning on having a bash tonight (wait for the fnarrrrs, lol) but it's a bit late now, tomorrow after the football has finished is when chaos ensues my plan of action at the moment |

the parcel contained a small bottle of juice
the bottle smelt beautiful but i wasnt anywhere near a attey so i couldnt test it
i had never ever tasted this flavor and to be honest i dont think i ever would
but when i got home i tried it to see what all the fuss was about
blooming heck it was like getting a kick in the taste buds
my tastebuds are alive just like johnny5 said
i cannot put it down my life has change forever
this flavour is CUSTARD had to shout it
this has changed my life forever
