I've just separated 500ml of 72mg AG Nic Base into 5 x 100ml cobalt blue glass bottles, these ones.. Blue glass bottles linkEach bottle has about 2cm of air at the top. Is it ok to freeze them, will the distilled water that's been used to thin the VG expand & cause problems?

I would think with air gap that you have left and gycerol/rine not freezing itll be ok. After all thats why we put pg in our cars water systems to prevent them freezing

yeah I know but it's had 20% distilled water added. Water expands when it freezes which is way I wasn't sure.

Should be fine Adam78, the ratio of water to glycerine is quite small . . . you could always try freezing one bottle first and see what happens to that ( if anything ) before you tuck all the bottles away.

It will be safe down to minus 37 deg C. The contents will contract, you will see how much when you try it with AG. "Is it frozen yet? " " Is it frozen yet?" .........

I have some AG base in the freezer in exactly the same bottles Adam78 and they are fine, they have been there for months now. They are not frozen when they come out, just very gloopy until they come up to room temp.
