Raffles as human beings there are far worse things that we should despair at

People around the world starving, homeless , diseases which in 'first world countries' are a thing of the past but stil killing people everywhere else, genocide , hell a few of those things happen here and yet we despair at such trivial things such as money.

@purple1234... this is what I was trying to get over... there is so much despair in the world, yet our 'bankers' treat the money that could solve these problems as just so much 'monopoly' money that gets them their 'country mansion'. We could solve so many problems in this world if it wasn't for corruption, all around the world. especially politcians.

Sorry. but I would have them all hung, drawn & quarted.

Normal day here for us tomorrow. We had our May day bank holiday on 1st May, why the UK has it on the first Monday of May I shall never understand, should be on the 1st day of May

Bank holidays are the same as any other day...hubby works....he dropped for every bank holiday last year
I dont drive and have responsibilities at home anyway....but would love to be able to afford to do something on one bank holiday .....

In most of the jobs I've had, i used to have to work a proportion of "Bank" Holidays, so that all those sun worshippers could get to the seaside or long time ago before IDD, make calls to loved ones overseas, but now every day is a holiday and both BT and BR pay me for the privilege.
