Boge 510 Carto probs?

Hi,

Just wondering what kind of fail rate peeps expect from these? Reason I ask is I've just had 3 in a row that were really poor. They were standard resistance, and they usually work great for me, crackle nicely and give plenty vapour etc. Last about a week for me (about 10ml juice).

These last 3 though I had to chuck after only a day each. They all started off really wimpy (lack of crackle/poor vapour) and by the end of the day had started to taste gunky, like they normally would after a weeks worth of use.

This is just with me normal C9V RY4 that's me usual vape.

Is there maybe a dodgy batch out there?

Not heard of a dodgy batch mate, boges are usually bullet proof.
Try cleaning them out with water and chucking them in the freezer over night- it seems to revive carto's.
Also check your battery, maybe on it's way out.

Yeah, I've even sometimes squeezed another week out of me previous ones by cleaning and freezing. These ones were just completely goosed though.

Me batteries are definitely fine though, I've only had me Riva a couple of months and they only get charged every other day. And I've just bunged on me very first LR Boge and it's working great (just about blew the back of me head off though, I'm used to standard ones )

LR all the way i dont get anything from standard resistance... try some kanger bottom coil for an even better hit

Got a pack of them from VE along with the LR Boges. Stronger than the LR's you say? Oi'm intrigued I'll try them next, and treat with caution

the draw is less airy and the vapour and flavour is improved... lets you take smaller toots... i love them

You'd get plenty from sr if you upped the voltage, they come in to their own at 4.2v and upwards, the lr's are just mimicking this at lower volts but are not the same.

im using lr boges from hc and i only get 2 days from them.
i am now condom filling them more often but its not making a great deal of difference.
that said they only cost £3 for 5 so no big deal really.
to be honest im fed up with trying to get that last few days from attys or 1 day from cartos where it causes frustration, i now just clean the device, try it again and then move on to the next one.
that said i have a tank coming and that may well extend them to a week if it does great if it dont then i will still have had the benefit of not having to top up all day.
i strongly believe ive messed up my own vaping by trying to get extra life/time from attys over the past year so now if it costs me another couple of quid so be it.

Im with Blakey on this,standard resistance Boge carto at 5v is way better than an LR.LRs may simulate a 5v vape but its not the same as a true 5v vape IMO anyway.Add the carto to a tank and you are laughing,as good as a Boge can ever get

Raggy ...i think a few extra quid compaired to what we used to waste on fags is a small price to pay.... you should get extra life from using a tank and a much better vape to boot

I've only used Boge LR cartos & the majority have been fine - usually between 2-5 days before they start to wimp out.

I love the standard resistence Boge cartos. I'm using a standard 510 atty and cartridge at the moment and it doesn't have nearly as much oomp! What do you mean by "add a tank?"
