Zmax with Faulty switch

I have a ZMax V3 which has a faulty button, the switch below the button only fires intermittently rather than @ every press. Anyone got any idea's on how to fix this? I have only had it about 6 months and I don't want to lose my trusty friend to a faulty switch.

i have 2 zmax at my home now with faulty fire switch belonging to a member on here and i am having trouble sourcing replacement switches
the tactile switches in mods are normally 2 pole or 4 pole flat lie down switches horizontal switches a mixture of 5mm X 5mm - 6mm X 6mm - 8mm X 8mm - 10mm X 10mm or !2mm X 12mm
are used depending on manufacture
but zmax are using a very unusual switch 3 pole standup vertical switch in 5mX 5mm or 6mm X 6mm and i am having trouble sourcing any of them

Yes ronaldo , these switches are difficult to source, I know others have tried and failed

If you did find them Ron I have 2 Zmax's here that could do with new switches. It appears to be their only Achilles Heel.

Does anyone know where to source them?

The 2 Zmax's that you have are they the telescopic or the fixed tube type?

Also are thet Siegelei or EHpro?

r i i have put in a request for them at work was told by my boss if i scorce them and get them through work i will have to order 200 of them but that is not a problem as they will be pennies if i scorce them i will send you 5 DiscoDes as i know that you can fit them if you needto know how to dismantle a zmax just shout or i could fix for you i am hoping to take a large amount of repair components to vapefest

Yes I could fit them, it's just getting the top caps off that's the bugga!

I am in the same boat, I cannot get the top cap off mine. I don't have a vice or anything like that at home to be able to get it off with.

Also if you do get any switches in I would happily pay for the repair if you can do it.

It is the second ZMax I have had where the switch has gone US, which is a bit of a bummer as it was one of my favourite mods

if i can get my hands on some switches it will be a very cheap repair and dont try and pull the end cap off a zmax as they arnt pressed on if i can get the switches i would expect them to be very very cheap i would be ordering 200 and i would think they would be about 40 pounds by ordering them through my works so about 20 pence each and seeing as i dont charge labour it would be a very very cheap repair just hope i can track some down

 that you do source some as I already have you earmarked to mend any/all of my Zmax's should they fail me at any time ronaldo

They are all working fine for now, but good to know you're there should the need arise
