Okay - I have all of these flavours arrived last week, I am going to try out my unopened MVP v2 tonight at work & would like to know which flavours need a bit longer to wait to be able to get a better flavour out of them. Any help is as always gratefully received Also, I have 10 original Evod clearos sat doing nothing I've changed all 10 to the Mini Protank 2s to avoid tank cracking etc. Which of these will be ok in the polycarbonate Evod tanks? Highlighted what I think have tank cracking potential above in red, although there may be others in that lot. The ones that I'm fairly certain are ok in poly tanks are blue OK, so for steeping, I tend to go with the following.. Mint/menthol/aniseed flavours - good to go from the off Fruit flavours - 1 week Desert and tobacco flavours - 1 month

My advice from SteamGunk via email: "Unless otherwise stated all our e-liquids are made to order, the date your liquid was made can be found on the bottle. Although perfectly fine to vape on arrival, many people find that steeping (leaving the bottle in a dark place with the lid off) for some time improves the flavour. As a guide: light and fruity e-liquids are ready after a couple of days, Tobaccos after around a week Creamy custard, dessert type liquids a little longer." I find that SteamGunk juices are usually good to go 2+ weeks with (any) custards 3+weeks but i use their advice on all my juices no matter where bought from. Except for T-Juice, normally are good to go if bought online or B&M. You got some vaping to do there CaptainChaos

All dekangs, afro dizzak, red astair, evapes are ready to go, jj softmint and triphammers possibly, steep everything else. Not sure about STEAMGUNK or VAPEMUNKI never tried those juices. Keep banana, lime, cherry, cola, anything sour and strong aniseed out of polycarbonate tanks to be on the safe side. Coffee, Aniseed and menthol are difficult flavours to get rid of once you've filled a clearo/tank
Another tip is that evods don't always fire on an mvp2 without a bit of tinkering - tweezers and/or a tiny jeweler's screwdriver come in handy!

Debbie13 - yes - tonight is the night that the MVP takes off her kit & gets used & abused But only if I can get enough time to actually DO it (it's a bit busy on the roads at the moment) ....

lairey - thank you so much for taking the trouble to type that up. The MVP 2 was opened & I was going to put the Key Lime flavour in the clearo (it comes with the iclear 16B), but then I saw your list & thought "NO! STOP!" So ..... The MVP has been opened, it has been put together & has been switched on & the Volts & Watts have been set to the minimum (hopefully it'll remember the settings) but I am actually quite nervous about using it. If I get the liquid in it & try it, taste nothing, is it better to turn the volts up or the watts up? confused.dot.com lol

It's actually a shame that the clearo is the plastic/poly type because the cover looks quite cool on it (its the Frost one)

ok, maybe too late now? But you use watts or volts, not both. Watts takes into account the resistance of your coil, so gives you a consistent power level regardless of the atty on top, whereas volts doesn't so you need to adjust when you change the atty. Watts is easier. so set the watts (I think 6 is the lowest) and gradually turn it up

I'm with lairey. Stick to watts and the rest will take care of itself.
