Seen a good few tutorials and reviews of the BDC heads done with single microcoils and the vape is supposed to be cracking. Looks straightforward enough aswell, just slightly harder to pull apart than the Kanger BC heads. I'm gonna be giving it a go in a few weeks or so, I'll let you know how it works out if you don't beat me to it only disadvantage I can see is because it is all housed inside, need to use silica instead of cotton. Doesn't bother me though! I have a few Kanger heads I can try with micro and cotton to compare, but I enjoy the aspires enough to carry on with silica. ~there is a video on YouTube with an Irish bloke who builds an ET-S single nano coil using cotton, this is the method I'll be using when I give it a try. Got a link?

Try a Nature Vape Pro Coil. It's a micro coil with a cotton wool wick. The coil last for weeks and they fit the Evods. Just change the wick when necessary. www.naturevape.co.uk/store/?age-verified=fee8bbf034#!/~/product/category=8507589&id=33067756 An increase in flavour and vapour for little outlay. Just for info if you ever decide/want to make a naturevape coil it is: 2mm diameter 0.28 Kanthal 8 wraps (will come out as 1.6ohms due to not using res/non res wire) Super-Shiny, I thank you I was awaiting the diy recipie for the coil...although I the I prefer the 1.8ohm version

Got a link? ~ He uses a 1mm blunt needle but I've only got a 1.2mm so I'll give that a go, just need to get some wire and an means of testing the ohms!

I thank you I was awaiting the diy recipie for the coil...although I the I prefer the 1.8ohm version Just do 9 wraps, should come out about 1.7-1.8ohms, there is nothing special about nature vapes coils, just basic 0.28 Kanthal and cotton.

The special thing about Nature Vape coils is that I can buy them. Being able to buy a good micro coil means us non coilers can enjoy the improved vape that coilers get with their own coils. I'm a practical disaster. The grandchildren have instructions that if they see me with a screwdriver they have to inform a responsible adult. I am allowed access to tweezers though so I can rewick.

That'd be great, I have some 0.18 and 0.20 but I'm pretty sure that wont work for micro/nano coils! Now to find myself an ohm's reader! What did you think of the video? Doesn't look all that complicated!

Doesn't look all that complicated! I didn't watch video mate as I don't use aspires. 0.18 and 0.2 are best for traditional coils rather than microcoils.

You can use the 0.25 to microcoil the evods too Indeed you can. I even did a traditional coil today for my "very expensive and up to date" new Protank 2. 6 wraps of 0.25 around a 2mm bit. 1.5ohms, slide in some cotton wool, job done. (couldn't be arsed to find the blow torch....)
