I've been happily washing and dry burning the head in my iclear 16, however this one is now showing an increase from 2.1 to 2.4 ohm just after a clean, is it time to bin it? What causes the increase in resistance if there's no gunk on the coil?

How long have you been using it tmg . . . I bin mine after no washing or dry burning after a couple of months of use, which is good enough for me for a disposable, inexpensive item.

I think I've been using it fairly constantly for a month, you're right they are cheap enough, I've just ordered 5 heads and 5 complete iclear 16's for £23 from myepack so it's bin time for my little friend..

The iClear16 atomizer coils are incredible. Even though they can go on for months, 2-3 weeks is enough for me. I would say tmg to go sooner rather than later with switching them over. Depends how many you have and how much you vape etc. but a new coil is better than a washed/dry-burned one once you've done it a few times.

Although I don't use them now (only because i'm rebuilding nowadays) I tend to recommend them to newbies for their flavour, lifespan, costing and ease of use. They really are great value, easy to maintain and vape so well!

Same as me The only thing I wash out is the clearo and drip tip ... Stick in a new coil and vape until I feel it is not performing as well (anything from a couple of weeks to a couple of months depending on the juice) .... then start again !!! Not worth the hassle washing them when you can buy a job lot from Fastech or Health Cabin for less than a quid each .... One order lasts more than a year
