... the new tabs might take a bit of getting used to, but if anything, FF is faster than ever.

Used to love Firefox few years ago but m$ have improved Internet Explorer to the point that it's more stable than Firefox in my opinion now.
For Linux I use chromium, the opensource version of chrome, again just feels bit faster than Firefox these days, and I do have both installed.

I have IE, FF & Chrome installed and prefer Chrome for all day use, it fires up quicker, and I have very few problems with it, except for my Internet Download Manager which sometimes will not work in Chrome, so if I want to download a vid, like some that get attached to a magazine that I subscribe to, then I have to use FF.

I never have any bother with FF, I've seen others having plenty of bother with things like chrome though, pop up blockers just not doing it etc and it doesn't seem at all faster to me. Maybe depends on the machine, software, hardware etc.

Firefox used to have a memory leak where even if you closed a tab the memory wasn't given back... dunno if that's fixed now.

both! lol
Supposed to be a good ssd, how do you find it? Been looking to them for work, though my boss is a tight wad, will probably end up with a smallish one just for OS and programs from crucial.
Fancy one for Mrs's netbook too...but can't justify expense at the moment.
I've got 30mb connection and to be fair it is fast enough for my needs, download speeds of 3mb+ with torrents.

My boss is a tight wad so was gona try and talk him into a smaller 128gb crucial drive for OS and programs only really and keep my filing on another normal hard drive....... but if its worth spending a little bit more for a noticeable difference I would push for bigger drive.

Got to admit that I've tried all the other browsers but still prefer Firefox. andy01424 I've also got a fibre connection.
