Members selling stuff on trade

I remember when something was up for sale the replies was either PM'ed you and then followed by Sold too ??? or Still for sale....now it seems to be a lot more than that.

Ain't pointing fingers as we all like a laugh but lets try and let the seller sell.

Totally agree mate  ... in fact it had got so bad at one stage, that in one of my recent sales threads I posted that due to the amount of silly interference, I would not be replying to posts in the thread itself and only responding to PMs. As you say, we all enjoy a laugh but when someone who is trying to trade or sell an expensive item is bombarded with offers of chocolate bars etc, it becomes a total farce.

I think most people know when a bit of banter is appropriate or not  ... it is when a serious thread, such as one in the classifieds, becomes so swamped with nonsense that members are put off contributing that it becomes unacceptable. Surely the lounge area is the place for "serious" banter?
