Maybe i have just a little to much on the "tail" ends near the channels next refill i`l trim them down a bit see if that helps Taifun is kind of the same to much cotton i get a funny taste to little and i get a gurgle or leak worst of two evils i found putting a slither of cotton on top of coil to act like a flavour wick helps a little

Burnt taste = too much cotton wool in the wick. Had a similar problem a couple of days ago, when I took the wick out it was brilliant white, so no juice getting to the wick! Once you get the Kayfun set up the way you like it, it will be a winner. Persevere and all will slot into place in the fullness of time! EDIT: to quickly get the juice out of a Kayfun, either use decoy's method,l or remove the drip top of the juice bottle, leaving the larger hole at the top, unscrew the Kayfun from the top giving access to the top of the tank, and pour the juice back into the bottle. You only lose about 3 or 4 drops, and it takes seconds. Oh I didn't realise I could do that!I will give that a go once we stop giving each other the evil eye! Kayfun and I aren't speaking to each other either. Getting fantastic help and tips from other users but its user error on my side

Another rate up for the Taifun GT. In my first few builds where it leaked due to the wick holes not being fully covered, being able to just turn it upside down and unscrew the wick deck without losing any juice was great. I actually also find working on the deck of the Taifun a bit easier than the Kayfun, but for vape quality the latter still just edges it.

Wow just managed to catch up, thanks for all the replies, it has been a bit of a bump with the kayfun, but I will conquer! I think I will also see if I can get one of the other suggested ones on the cheap to play with as well. On reflection, what happened yesterday was after my success with the micro in the protank, I measured. Y cotton, put it in the kayfun, left it for a while then vaped, at first it was fine but after I adjusted the airhole to be a little looser as it suits my juice better it may have had trouble wicking it. Once my monthly juice orders come in I shall try again In the mean time..my new toy this morning arrived, my mega, so I will be playing with that too lol

You're definitely pulling the centre piece back up properly after wicking etc? I can't get the taifun to leak no matter how badly I set it up. Just wondering if something isn't sealing properly.

Like the look of the kayfun's more and just not really interested in this. £15 delivered if you want it? No worries if you don't, I'll get round to putting it up in the classies at some point

Mrsmac, if you don't want the Taifun I would take it off you lairey. I already have the same one off of FT and and it is brilliant. Really excellent quality for a clone IMO Hope it's ok for me to jump in on the conversation like that and not against the rules, apologies if so

That's quite alright, I saw the post a little while ago lairey and have been toying with the idea.thank you got your kind offer but since seeing a post about going back to basics, I am strongly thinking about doing that too as I can't seem to get the hang of the advanced stuff to my liking for now. claire please feel free to release and thank you again x
