Evening all, I have been having fun with my pt3 with airflow control and a micro coil for...24 hours (I finally got the combination right!!) so thought I would be brave and got the kayfun out the draw again= disaster! flavour overload and when I adjusted the airflow and found a spot I liked! it burnt the cotton. anyhows...this is not really a how to rectify the burnt cotton on the kayfun question! but more so: Is there a rebuildable atomiser (clone lol) similar to the kayfun, but one that you can get your juice out of without using a darn syringe??? Tia x

i use a 10ml bottle take refill screw out squeeze the bottle a little and put the tip over the hole and turn atti right way up release the pressure on the bottle and it sucks out the juice simples or you could try a Genesis style attie all the gubbings are at the top so no need to remove the juice but not as good as a kayfun in my opinion

Thanks decoy as a beginner at rebuildables it's just getting to be a royal pita to suck out the juice with the syringe. Will look into the recommendation

Oh and the darn screw holds us threaded so no matter what screw I use that is also a pita to get out!

of the rebuildable attys I think the squape clone is the easiest to set up & yes you can tinker with coil without emptying it

Burnt taste = too much cotton wool in the wick. Had a similar problem a couple of days ago, when I took the wick out it was brilliant white, so no juice getting to the wick! Once you get the Kayfun set up the way you like it, it will be a winner. Persevere and all will slot into place in the fullness of time! EDIT: to quickly get the juice out of a Kayfun, either use decoy's method,l or remove the drip top of the juice bottle, leaving the larger hole at the top, unscrew the Kayfun from the top giving access to the top of the tank, and pour the juice back into the bottle. You only lose about 3 or 4 drops, and it takes seconds.

i would say post me the base and i will run a tap throw the hole to sort out the threads but dont know how much postage would cost if you getting dry hits your possibly using a little to much cotton or blocking the little holes at the top of the threaded bit on the base(juice channels)

tainfun gt aswell Lol I rmembered you told me to get that in the first place lol Don't worry about it, the taifun has it'[s problems too setting up and the taste isn't as good as a proper working kayfun imo, got both here. Your initial problem though sounds like you might just have to much cotton as suggested, it needs to be fairly loose so you take a smaller bit and leave it more fluffed up. Like when rolling it to fit through a coil you don't twist it, just roll it, if it's to big to fit through fairly easy then it's to much. Persevere though, they are sooo worth it once you get the hang of them.
