Once you have learned to wick and coil, gennys are very low faff vaping faff vaping. They're my mainstay. All I've had to do since January is rewick 2 of them and take wicks out for a dry burn when they gunge up then put them back in. You try telling the kids today that and the just won't believe you! For me a Genesis with ss rope has the longest running time between maintenance by far, and the best vape, shame they leak if you don't keep them almost upright most of the time.

Wow, that is super cheap... nice find!
I almost snagged one, but the single airhole for a dual coil deck is a bit of a deal breaker for me... don't have the tools or know-how to fix it either. :\

Dual coil set up for a genny really needs to be two wicks side by side, I can't understand why so many manufacturers put them on opposite sides. I'm happy with a single wick so no big deal for me.

Up and working. Came enriched with generous amounts of machine oil so took apart and cleaned. The machining is good, the insulators are very poor and quite a job to rebuild. The part that surrounds the centre pin screws into the base and top without O rings, could try adding some but afraid the tank might then leak. Also the inner diameter of that part is barely wider than the centre pin so I was concerned about a short. It is about Temon size. Four holes equally spaced about the deck and a breather hole so it would be possible to have dual wicks which aren't on opposite sides. I think the air hole is 1.4mm which is too big for me.
I recoiled one of the wicks they provided which looked like it had been oxidised over the coals of hell and it was incident free (yippee). So I suppose it's nearly a good genny but not sufficiently nearly for me to recommend it. But it's set up and vapes fine if you like the vape from a 1.4mm air hole and maybe it will grow on me. It is filled with Ouzo and I will continue to use it as my anisette genny.
Edit: got the second one set up and finding the amount of vapour is not so good. The culprit seems to be vapour condensing on the deck, centre pin and top cap. The deck is particularly thick and the top cap thicker than a DID or AGT. I will try an air coil twice the resistance of the wick coil and might try reboring the air hole to 1.2ml if I have the time and energy. Any other ideas? As it is I wouldn't recommend this genny.
