We always smoked indoors, now that i have given up I vape indoors as well, unfortunately OH still smokes, cat has never minded either, but doesn't like my banana flavours, we always leave the patio door open for those who don't like the OH smoking, but so far no one appears to worry about me vaping, I'm mainly in my den (spare bedroom) anyway, when I'm not looking after OH.

I vape in my own house and in some friends houses, but only if they are relaxed about it. I go outside at restaurants etc. Stealth vaping is difficult with 100% vg Only time inside vaping is a problem is when I can't see the telly

I vape inside at home, even been known to vape in bed. In pubs I'll ask if I can vape, only been told no once. In restaurants I vape outside, outside at work too (smoking policy applies to ecigs), and wouldn't enter my head to vape in a shop.

I vape at home and in bed ( where my cable tv is) I did smoke in back room or out of bathroom window... but now it's fresher so I vape all over house.
I vape at friends houses, including two with small kids but they are outside smokers and are happy for me to vape. I also vape in local pro vape pub.
Everywhere else I treat vaping as smoking, so go outside or stealth vape in loos. I'm quite happy with that.

Went to my local pub (which I seldom frequent these days) a couple of weeks ago with a good friend. After about 1.5 hours, I thought I would have a couple of stealth vapes, only to be approached by the young barwoman who was collecting empty glasses. Oh bugger, I thought, here we go! Instead, she popped an eGo setup out of her pocket and said ' oh, don't worry about stealthing (sic.) we vape in here all the time!' Boy was I pleased, and treated the clientele to a goodly amount of Red Astaire for the rest of the evening! I wouldn't normally vape anywhere I wasn't allowed to smoke, unless I know for sure that no-one will object. Friends are quite happy for me to vape in their houses, although I always offer to go outside. They all say that the smell is not at all offensive and that they like it.

Inside normally (especially on the rare occasions I go to a Wetherspoons!), but I also work somewhere that makes people vape outside.
I used to think the excuse, along the lines of Wetherspoons worrying about their staff and punters not being able to tell the difference between an e-cig and a stinky, was a load of rubbish until an 'incident' last week. A manager from another shift noticed me vaping, waited for me to take another drag and rather aggressively challenged me about smoking outside of the smoking area. A polite explanation that I didn't have to be in the smoking area to vape did the trick and she walked away mumbling something about not realising I was using an e-cig. I was using a Vamo in 18650 mode and a Nautilus and as I was somewhere I'm allowed to vape, I wasn't being at all stealthy, how she confused my gear for a stinky I'll never know!
I should add that I always check if vaping is ok in other pubs, clubs etc and wouldn't dream of going stealth if they said no, but Wetherspoons are an exception. Not that I have ever been asked not to vape in one of their pubs.

Smoked outside at home, and everywhere else, but vape outside and inside, but only inside when kid is in bed or I'm upstairs and he is downstairs.

I asked why and was told that it was 'company policy'. So, I emailed their customer services and suggested they could set just one room aside in each of their pubs where vaping would be permitted. I pointed out that there was no real problem with cigarette smokers trying to take advantage, as if anyone lit up a stinky then vapers would be the first people to object! No joy. Guess who's lost a regular customer?

I vape anywhere I can get away with it, usually cloud the place out at home which does annoy the OH but hey ho, can't be superman ALL the time. Sneaky vapes in shops if possible with the kayfun, I like the challenge lol.
Studies have shown that anything passive is so insignificant they can't even measure it so kids can hang out if they like and I'll carry on vaping. I even explain to friends kids what I'm doing and why, they're not stupid, not until they're adults then they might be but as kids they're generally pretty bright.
Most non smokers like the smell of caramel and toffee so I never get complaints.

I vape everywhere in my home. In bed (cautious not to fall asleep with it), on the toilet lol but not in the shower!! My daughters think its great that I and my wife have stopped smoking. They say I used to stink of fags. Vaping doesn't bother them. I stealth vape outside and in shops. I don't like vaping near Joe public as it usually instigates questions and interest. My elderly neighbour didn't mind me vaping in her house or near her dog that is attracted to aniseed! She told her brother and his wife about vaping and they have taken it up! After years of smoking. My heart, lungs and health tell me its fine!!

Personally my thoughts on where I vape tend to be more to do with other people's perception of vaping than the actual vaping itself. Until vaping has been around for the same length of time as tobacco smoking (about 400 years) then vaping is going to be perceived by some as just another form of smoking and as such, what rules apply to one, should be applied to the other. I am not on a vaping crusade and I am not out to annoy the anti-smoking brigade, but my view is that if I am vaping, you had better have good scientific proof that vaping is bad before you challenge me as to whether it is safe or otherwise for me to vape in your company. Clearly there are certain places, like other people's houses and businesses, where what they say, goes, but elsewhere, where there are no set rules, then I vape where and when I choose.

We live in a "dry village", no pubs!!!!
Our nearest drinking hole is a Bistro on a caravan park up the road and so it is a pub, come restaurant, come whatever and they allow vaping, so when I say I vape in a restaurant, it is not really a place where people are there only to eat.
I do get the occasional strange look from folks that are there primarily to eat, but those that are there to drink have never batted an eye to me vaping, so, like I say, it is other people's perceptions that will or will not, dictate how they view vaping.
