I don't think toots can find her pan we might need a whip round to buy her a new one Yeah, the handle came off the last time I bashed someone with it - now waiting for a new one from FT needs to come quick as spain is starting to lag a bit lately get out on the street with your rolling pin until your new pan arrives or use a bottle of sangria

As requested by GunJackA Brief Account of Thursday 5/6/14 "On the Road" Met and collected 8 Dodobox kits from Keith Hunt( minus the sae ) Travelled to Stafford + found 2 locations a) Socialites stall in a Shopping precinct - met the most abnoxious lady manager who eventually after a little persuasion agreed to take a box but would need to check with head office before deployment !! Risky deployment but with footfall a worthwhile risk b) Colls Vapour Lounge -07516256064 mob No box was in this store + owner unaware of Efvi and v sketchy of TPD -needs sae. He is a TW reseller Box installed and deployed Next stop Uttoxeter a) b+m store "Got no Tar" who are on Fb + twitter . A very pleasant but totally unaware lady in charge of the shop . Readily received a box + this was installed . The lady suggested trying the "Old Talbot Public House" b) After giving the landlord the spiel he happily accepted the box Then to Stoke-on-Trent a) Vaper Stall - Manager very vague ,but readily accepted the box b) BRAND NEW LOCATION ....E-CIG Stoke ..very pleasant young enthusiastic owner ST4 2JX Box installed + deployed c) Elequent Vapers box in place but needs sae d)Totally Wicked owner ,a little about the TPD ,not heard of ECI ,no DD box (unlike the map) Box installed + deployed e) ecigWizard Biddulph ..heard a little about TPD not ECI a thriving store with estimated 800 customer base . Were very enthusiastic DD box recipients ,also gave details of a NEW STORE opening 20/6/14 in f) Congleton ....11 Mill Street ,Congleton CW12 1AB Obvious conclusions of the day 1)bloody tiring 2)bloody satisfying 3) We must up our Educational game 4)Far more effective to get off the keyboard + go and deliver the message and the boxes yourselves (when possible) 5) New shops still been discovered ..I despair that people local to the area cannot do this simple task! apologies if any offence taken at any stage of this report ,that was not the intention whatsoever it was a report posted elsewhere and I thought it may have some interest here

gibla53 I applaud you. I think you just gave yet another well utilised day to the cause. And yes - the big question - how to get people to become activists and engage. Effectiveness of communication styles within a corporation is simple and boils down to three bullet points: - Textual communication is okay
- Verbal communication is good
- Face to face works
Which isn't to degrade the value of keyboard skills - I've obtained a number of signatures through private email / messaging correspondence and keyboard warrior advocacy has value in educating (although the value of one amongst a hundred comments is questionable and it may be more productive to, where the functionality exists, to boost the ranking of a comment). And, of course, those entering signatures from the slips of paper received from B&M stores is essential and positive use of time. My biggest concern with Dodo boxes is where they are not used and a promise to sign is instead solicited... Nowt beats a signature in the box (apart from one entered on-line in the shop). Please continue to post - these days this is my primary forum (although UKV remains a useful resource)

EFVI Daily Stats 05/06/2014:
Latest stats last 24hrs -
Top performing countries...
1) Spain - 165
2) UK - 148
3) France - 140
4) Germany - 90
5) Poland - 17
Others <10
Total - 601
Well, not the best day yesterday overall. A welcome return to the top 5 for Poland though, even if it was a rather modest figure... I think we need to put this one down to mid-week 'blues', we always seem to get a dip in the figures around this time of the week. A triumphant return to the top for Spain, and the UK consistently keeping it's 2nd position. The 2nd batch of dodo boxes should be starting to achieve some results fairly soon, so maybe towards the end of the month we may see a sharp rise in the UK figures at least. One to watch....

As we have to have 7 member states reaching their goal and looking at the individual countries performances aren't we going to struggle to get all 7 ??? The way it looks there are really only 4 member states in the running with Poland lagging well behind and then no real input from any state member no 6 & 7 Looking pretty doomed to me

It amazes me that we need all these votes yet it only takes 10 or so in closed session to overturn the emp's vote

Disappointing day yesterday... first drop below 600 for a while. On a positive note, good to see Cyprus joining the fray. Hopefully the weekend will bring more people onto the streets and into vaping stores. The remainder of the 2.3 million UK vapers really do need to stand up and be counted, and the same goes for the whole of europe. If you haven't already done so, get family members, friends, acquaintances and whoever else you can think of to sign the initiative, it really does make a difference.
