Authentic Sigelei Zmax on FT... but is it?

The product weights are not the same. The SS V2 FT sells is 122 grams while Sigelei shows it should be 186 grams.

It is the only mod I might have bought a second one of and the solid feel is one of the reasons so I'd have been well cheesed off if I'd ordered one assuming it would be the same.

This isn't the only example among the Zmaxs.

All I can say is that any item that is listed with the word AUTHENTIC always has been on Fasttech. It is difficult to tell from the Sigelei listing whether the weight includes other bits and pieces. A Vamo only weighs in at about 130 grams and that`s pretty heavy monty

Both are V2 though, I would put money on the Fasttech one being genuine.

My zmax doesnt have the removeable cone like the fasttech one. Mines a segelei, had it ages. I think ines a V2 because it has the option of RMS or MEAN power whereas the V1 didnt have that menu option.

No idea on the V2 I'm afraid, but I have a v3 from FT and apart from a different button and the removable top cap, it's every bit as good as my other v3. As robby has said, it could be different things included when weighed, or it could be FT don't know how to weigh it or just typed the weight in incorrectly, or it could be a fake, but I would put money on it being genuine personally

I cant believe the V2 weighs in at 186grms, the Sigelei 20W only comes in at 151grms. If FT say it is "Authentic" then it is. It`s a bit of a codeword on FT for genuine stuff. Never been proved otherwise to the best of my knowledge. FT also buy a lot of stuff in from Segelei and I cant see them jeopardising that by using their name in that way. A Fiver anyone?

I actually think Sigelei have made mistake with weight. On their site they have the V3 telescopic zmax ( which I would guess weighs more than a V2 ) at 105g.
My Evic with stainless steel Kir Fanis tube (telescopic ) & top cap with battery inside weighs in at 161g, also cannot see how a V2 weighs more than my DNA30 box mod with battery !

They are the Wifes multi fangled thing, stop watch, temp etc, I haven't a clue why

I guess it is down to Chinese manufacturers making changes without calling it a new version. The V1 weighed 143 grams (PBusardo video). The V1 had the pips on the slant and the V2 had them just below the slant. Wanting a coloured SS V2 mini with the vertical lines cut in below the level of the fire button.
