My first coil!

So following Super-Shiny's guides and with some encouragement from loads of forum members, i today sucessfully made my first working coil for the protanks (well, i used all the wire which was about a meter and made 11 of them, some...didnt make the cut) 0.25 Kanthal around a 2mm drill bit, 9 wraps, cooked and sqeezed on the stove...2.1ohm where did i go wrong?

Just do 8 wraps and it should come out where you want it.

Thanks guys, it feels really good to be able to do them, i've been practicing for a while, now all i gotta figure out is what tank i prefer them in...what ohms...what wire... and at some point in the very distant future, i will try the kayfun again lol

Any idea how long 11 microcoils last?

4-5 weeks each minimum

Depending on what juice you are using I would estimate 1 week each with moderate/heavy vaping.

once you start to lose the taste, carefully remove the cotton, dry burn the coil then thread some new cotton in....the micro coil it self should last at least 1/2 months

Thats what i thought, so in theory i have made a years worth say for one tank ugh...better get vaping fast so that i can try some lower ohms!

Honestly, keep going, it is tricky at first but after you get one half decent it gives you motivation to keep going, i made 6 yesterday and 5 today and fired the first one. If i can do it, anyone can trust me! where are you stuck?

I can make them. I'm chugging on a 1.8 coil in the kayfun (my first one). Made a second one but its 2.8 vapable but a bit high. Its being soaked at the moment. I shall try another at weekend.
My thinking is, if it all gets banned or regulated, at least I can get by. Might not be perfect but if it works, it will do for me
