Charging question

Quick question. My evod has been on charge for like 2/3 hours normal. Power button light evod on normal, charger light red with flashes of green. NormAl. Gets green light normal. Flashes on the power button to tell me it's ready. Normal. Then if I leave it for a sec it starts the recharge cycle on the charger light but the power button on evod stays off. This has just happened for the first time now....??? Help please?

Both evod and charger are genuine kanger tech. Less than two weeks old.

I would just use it jack until you get a dead battery again and just keep an eye on it.

Give the contact on the battery and the charger a little clean as well.

What happens if you take it off charge and then put it back on again?

Gave them a clean. Always do with either tissue or a cotton bud. If I take it off and put it back on again it recharges for 30 secs and then goes green and repeats above cycle.

Keeping on using it will see what happens next cycle tomorrow.

It charged my other mini exhale battery fine. The power button on the exhale battery didn't come on but I don't think it ever has. Didn't start recharge cycle just stayed green...

Try your kanger battery again when it runs out Jack and see how it goes. It might well be that it wasnt quite charded. I know our spinners flash green and red for ages on the last bit of charge.

Even though it charges your other battery, it may be the charger. I had a few of them, and one needed a nudge or a twist to get it going. Then a do not disturb sign putting on, as a breath would stop it working.

That could be the same as my first charger which came with my basic kit.

It would appear to show it charged after a short time, but the battery would go flat after a bit of use.

I took it back to my local shop who tested it with other batteries, declared it deceased, and gave me a new one, which has happily been charging batteries now for some weeks.

I mean, these charger cables must be knocked out in the millions, so I would have thought that there are bound to be a few duff ones in the process.

Evod charge from yesterday just ran out now with mid/heavy use on 3.8v. Basically same time it ran out yesterday.

Putting it on charge again now, not tightened too far, cleaned contacts. Let's see what happens....

Done it again.

Now it's restarted the charging cycle shall I leave it to it and see if the charging light goes a solid green.

The power button on the battery has gone off again as well...
