intheblim also forgot to mention as the heads have already flooded take the heads out and blow though them from the top onto tissue to get rid of any remaining juice before you start over again with higher watts.

ok many thanks everyone i will try 8.5 as i just tried 9.0 and got a burnt taste - im also doing 8 wraps should i do more ?

See above and also when putting cotton in the coil make sure you don't put too much and strangle it or it won't wick fast enough for the coil, the cotton should be able to pull through the coil at both ends easily without any pressure.

Nice and snug is the key, not too tight and not too loose.

got so fed up today i have even ordered myself a mech mod - hcigar nemesis and a aga t3 tank - sorry for all the posts but really new to this but am still glad i dont smoke tobacco anymore

ok just stuck my battery on the charger and it saying 3.5 could this be my problem ?

Leave it for the day today, grab a freshly charged battery tonight, chuck it in the zmax, whack the zmax up to 10 watts at the very least, put a nice clean working clearo on it and see how you get on.

Very possibly intheblim. I find that when the battery gets to 3.5 it doesn't provide enough power and my attie splutters. A quick change to a fresh battery sorts it out

Make sure you dont have any liquid down in the connector on the ZMAX. Could be some down there after all your efforts
