Hi i have 2 sorts of batteries they are Efest 2000 mAh and and 2 x smaller ones which are Efest 800 - the question i need to ask is when i put the larger battery in it reads 4.2v so i tried putting the 2 smaller ones in and its reading 8.2v - is this ok to stack 2 smaller batteries together in my zmax v5 and if it reads 8.2v does this mean the 2 stacked together will last longer than the larger battery ?

Without going into the whys and wherefores, it is recommended to NEVER stack batteries. I'm sure someone with more electrical knowledge than me will explain why soon, but you risk exploding batteries and shorted atomisers at the very least. Stick with using them separately!

Agree with Andy. Never stack batteries. People do it but it is not a great idea. Sent from my Galaxy Note 2

The two batteries will not last as long as the one battery intheblim With the single 18650 you have 2000 units of power and with the two smaller ones you only have 1600 units of power. You dont need to stack batteries, there are safety issues and there is no real gain for you

intheblimIn a word NO. never mind the hype you may read, it's never repeat never advisable to have a device that close to your face with stacked batteries in.
