I'm new here so Hello :) (recommended by a friend)

Thought I'd introduce myself as I'm new here ... 

A week ago yesterday I started on my e-cig (after spending a week with friends, one of whom was vapouring all week despite the two of us sparking up a cig) I was so impressed by how well she coped that as soon as we got home I went on line and ordered my e-cig starter kit. I am so glad I did it ! 
OK so initially it cost me a bit but I am saving already and feel much better for it, I sleep better for starters not to mention many other benefits I have noticed. 

My only 'fear' well not really a fear more of 'thing' is what liquids to purchase ? Not sure if we can mention names on here but the friend who recommended me to this forum suggested that where I am buying them from at the moment is a rip off, but I went with them for the fact they are made in the UK and so I believe they are made to some sort of regulation ?? Can all e-liquids be used in any vapourizers ? 

I have tried before cold turkey and the disposable e cigarettes but the vapour e-cig is the only one that has worked for me (OK so it's only been a week but thats better than my previous attempts LOL) 

I would appreciate some advice on 'safe liquids' to use and where to buy them from if anyone can help and advice on if all e liquids are the same so can be used in any e-cig.

hi and welcome wibble - go to the vendors board and you find loads of vendores selling fabulous liquids - yes you can name them - we all do - 2 good places to start are joosejuice the 10ml are only £ 1.49 and you can try various percentages - if you buy 30 ml you get 60ml - but you need to let them rest or steep as we say in here as they are freshly made on order

another good place is smokerainbow - you can try hundreds of flavours without spending too much money

and yes you can vape any liquid in any tank - with the one caution that some liquids are tank crackers - so get yourself also a glass tank - as in them you can vape every liquid

and congratulations of having started the vaping journey and leaving those stinkies behind

btw dekang for example is made in China , but has some really good liquids - no probs at all to purchase them

I don't have a glass tank - how can I tell if they are 'tank crackers' ?

There are loads of uk vendors selling quality eliquid, have a rummage around on the site for approved vendors. A good starting place is joose juice as it's a great price and quality juice and they've recently added the option to order stronger flavoured juice as some complained some of their juices were weak, not any longer it would seem

Joose juice tell you if a particular juice is a potential tank cracker.

the protanks for example are glass tank - ok I am known for my love of the protank2 with the airflow controller you can get them at myepack for a very good price - and his delivery times are great - and if you fancy any specific atty = atomizer = top and you are not sure - just ask here in the forum - one of the many great things of this forum is - you can ask ask ask ..... there will always be somebody who has an answer

Tank crackers:  Well.... generally the citrus, banana, cinnamon and aniseed type flavours are the culprits, they make the plastic tanks go cloudy and eventually crack, so best to use a glass tank.

At the moment I'm on Cherry or Grape - I will definately check out Joose Juice before I order any more from TW !!

If you stick to any that you find recommended on here you will be OK. Just a tip, as a new vaper you will find that your tastebuds will chang over time so whatever you do choose, don't go mad and buy loads of the same.
10ml at a time is fine.

so next question .. I have a Tornado T e-cig, do the tanks all fit the same ? I will check out that website Charon. I have been bought 10ml at the moment as having only just started I thought I'd get a few to try and see which flavour I liked. Quite amusing as yesterday I made a comment 'if only they did a cider or cheesecake flavour one .. on checking Joose Juice they DO do a cheese cake flavour one !!

There was me thinking buy ecig and vapour and thats it but so much to consider .. like what flavour do I try next ??

Hello Wibble I'm new vaper too, I found smokerainbow brilliant as I was able to get myself 10 different flavours and makes to try, I also have found going into vape shops and asking to try flavours really useful. I've also bought some juice from a vendor on here and deliberately sent for 3 flavours I thought I might like in 10ml bottles (got 3x10ml for £7.30 inc postage) I've now got a really good range of flavours to try at home for not a huge cost - and compared to buying fags its really cheap.
