I must admit to not really liking the menthol or fruit type of liquids, I never really liked menthol "real" cigs or fruit teas.I also tried a few at a VIP stand 2 weeks ago ( which got me started on the vaping trail) and my opinion hasn't changed , lol Such a pity I really liked the taste of the Hangsen Gold & Silver.Would the flavour be increased if I went down in the nicotine level, say from 18mg to 12mg ? Andy Don't for a moment think that all menthols taste the same. There are all sorts of different mixes from different suppliers, and they all have a uniqueness. Do you eat minty sweets? Compare a Trebor Extra Strong with a Softmint of a Polo, and you'll agree that they all have different compositions. Try some Joosejuice strong menthol to cleanse your palate, even if you don't vape it all the time; I'll guarantee that it will work! I'm off kayaking in the morning, and have some 16mg Menthol with a few tweaks in an iClear 16 to go on my Spinner, which is charging in the kitchen. It will be a refreshing change for my palate, and as it's stronger than my usual mixes, it will hit the spot nicely on our coffee stop on a nice little beach somewhere! Don't worry, I'll switch the charger off before I go to bed - just in case the Battery Police are reading this

I'm 2 months into vaping myself and went through the 'mute flavour' stage a couple of weeks back. The best advice I got through was to get some micro coils and start wicking with cotton wool. It all looks pretty daunting at first but there is a really great guide here. You can buy pre-made coils from fasttech here and then all you need to do is get hold of some cotton wool, Sainsbury's basic are the best to get hold of easily as they aren't perfumed. I'm currently waiting on a shipment of coils which should be here in the next few days, when they are here I'd happily send you some over. It immediately gave a better flavour and it's all I use now. It works great on the Evod tanks. Also I'd give a plus one of smoke rainbow as you can try a whole load of flavours for not a lot of money, it really gave me a good idea of what flavours I liked and which I didn't. Plus they are already steeped and ready to vape.

That looks fantastic Sirvapalot , I think I'll order the coils as they work out at £1.29 with free worldwide delivery ( I can't see how they don't make a loss on that ?? ) and my wife works as a Pharmacist assistant so the cotton wool won't be a problem either. How come you need the wraps so tight, is it to give a better heat and also do you get through more juice if it heats it quicker ? How come you don't need a flavour wicks or does the cotton wool do everything ? Why do you think it gives a better flavour, or have I already asked that , lol ??
As far as coil parts are concerned where do you get spares of those as they are bound to wear out at different rates like the 2 different rubber grommets ???

How come you need the wraps so tight, is it to give a better heat The coils heat up more quickly, and produce a more even element for the wick and also do you get through more juice if it heats it quicker ? That is a downside, but well worth it! How come you don't need a flavour wicks or does the cotton wool do everything ? The cotton wool expands to fill the coil once it is saturated in juice, so you need very little Why do you think it gives a better flavour, or have I already asked that , lol ?? The wicking is much more efficient and then supplies to juice to a warmer coil

Now THAT'S going to be handy for you Montana when if you move onto DIY e-juice making (another thing that's not too complex, is fun and very cost effective) You will be able to get her to bring home blunt dispensing needles, syringes, measuring cups, menthol crystals, glycol....all the things we get embarrassed asking for!! but that's for another day

may like few of us the toabacoo bit ,could be down to fact anything else feels so wrong and not right, will say dont knock it till you tried it lol i was staunch yup that is wrong wrong wrong wont like ,until one fine day this lot raved about Cappellas Vanilla Custard, thought on one order of more Virginia.Golden Rollie oh add it give it a try, well lets say new flavours and tastes have been required With some of your tobac juices you could try little mix a bit with that, first started mixing just virginia and adding candy floss to it,will say now hooked on good old RedAstair even though i cannot stand menthol it only has a slight hint As for the good old muted tasted ,that comes of constant using same old juice over and over, instead of inhaling straight into your mouth inhale into your cheek, enjoy your new learning curve,as for self mix its a bit of a ohh err oh dear can i cant i, once you done your first,it turns into as easy as making a cuppa, sometimes its purrrrfect, sometimes it goes wrong[taste wise ] lol

Oooo thanks for the tip about inhaling into the cheek Andy - I did wonder why a lot of vapers had their e-cig at a sideways angle just tried it and got loads more flavour. I've also been vaping the Intense liquid from Euphoricvaping since Saturday and thats made a big difference in taste and vapor as well.
