I mixed some T-Juice Colonel Custard (10ml 70PG/30VG @ 20%) 3 weeks ago, after 1 week I thought I would give it a try and although the flavour was there and quite bland, it had quite a strong perfume taste and was also slightly peppery, guessed it needed longer to steep so left it. I decided to give it a try today (3 week mark) as it smells quite nice and has turned a nice dark orange and although the perfume and pepper taste has now gone the flavour is still quite bland compared to their ready mixed juice. I like quite strong flavours and found the ready mixed quite flavoursome so thought 20% would of been enough as they recommend 15% on their website. I have some TPA Sweetener and TPA Vanillin, so if I added 1-2% of each to the mix would it enhance the flavour? Or would I need to add more % of concentrate for the better flavour? As I mixed up a couple of 10ml bottles yesterday (1 @ 20% and 1 @ 25%) I was thinking about adding 1% of each to the mixes, which i will be doing anyway (experimentation and all that), but just thought about asking for an opinion.

Forgot to say, I washed the coil and vaping it on Vision Spinner 2 with Mini Protank 3, turned up voltage to 4.8v (max), have a little more flavour but i'll wait a little longer for coil to bed in again.

Yes, colonel custard is quite bland even at 20%.
Sweetner, Vanillin, any vanilla, dulche de leche, any of those would be fine to add to it, or a mix of a couple of them. It may also get a little better by next week ( 4 weeks )

I'd add another 5% of the Tjuice flavouring and 2% Vanillin to make it more creamy, though I'd leave the sweetener for now cHooBeyDoo, you could always add that at a later stage if you think it needs it in a couple of weeks time.

I mixed some @ 25% two months ago and it's still bland. Pity, as it's my only real disappointment from T Juice concentrates. [although, now thinking about it, I wasn't happy with "High Voltage" but that's probably just me.]

Have either of you gents got some Capella or TPA's Vanilla Custard? You could always use some of those to perk the CC up . . . must admit although tempted, I didn't try it. Capella/TPA's versions are both a hard Custardy act to follow I reckon.

I have both Capella and TPA VC Loving that idea Perpetua , going to try that for sure I will wait a little while for these mixes to steep first, I put a little of the vanillin in each of them last night - 0.1ml in the 20% mix and 0.2ml in the 25% mix and have quite a few different bought custards steeping, as well as some others I made myself. My cupboard is now called Custard Corner BTW The best custard i've tried so far is Captain Custard by SteamGunk........ MMMMMMMMMM. I highly recommend it

The only other Custards I've tried have been Grant's ( someone sent me a sample ) and Mrs B's ( won in a raffle ) . . . totally loved up with the Custardy LoveChild recipe, so I've not explored further. Plus I've turned into a right miser now when it comes to buying premium ready made, just can't bring myself to fork out for them.

totally loved up with the Custardy LoveChild recipe Got 40 ml of this wonder (yet to be tasted) steeping in custard corner, the first 10 ml bottle I mixed is looking nice and orange and is 3 weeks old atm (as is the 10ml of PVC and various others, mixed at the same time) saving them for my Nautilus and Vamo when it eventually arrives. I had to whip up the other 30ml of Custardy Lovechild a few days ago as the first one smells so damn good!

I have 30ml of vanilla custard I bought over 4 weeks ago from cloudhousevapour, it still smells perfumey. I might just put it away and forget about it for a while.
