Vapefest 2014 - Camping Site meet up Friday night 1st August

Hey guys, I know I'm not the most interactive member...by far lol but was quite looking forward to vapfest and putting faces to names

I've all but secured my weekend off(fingers crossed!!) however due to the bloody navy I've spent 4 days with my wife and even less with my boy so the mrs has agreed to join me camping so we can spend some time together, she isn't interested in the day events so hopefully meet up with some of you throughout the day but please do not think I'm being rude if I turn recluse come the end of the event.

This morning, I was reminiscing with myself, last years journey, made by @spikeyfridge to Vapefest.......I remember it well, as I was getting a mile by mile progress report by text as she circumnavigated her way from Stroud to Tamworth......A journey which, eventually & rather surprisingly, went without a great deal of hassle & took approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, which, I would say given the driver & sense of direction, quite an achievement on her part .......Once entering Tamworth & subsequently attempting to navigate her way to the hotel, was, however, another kettle of tomatoes altogether...........I got more text's in that (what should have been ) short period of time ( which it wasn't ) than the whole of the journey put together.........It took her just as long to find the hotel, as it did to complete the task from Stroud to Tamworth.......& that, may I add, was with the aid of a Sat Nav..........Needless to say, I'm quite relieved to note she is staying on the campsite & has absolutely no idea where I will be residing.....Bless her.....................

That was followed, in the hotel lobby, by her then attempting a world record, at trying to break as many of my mods as humanly possible, in as little time as it needed to get the gold medal around her neck........I blame all this unruly behaviour on me ending up rather the worse for wear on Friday evening prior to Vapefest & throwing up on a poor, unsuspecting duck, who happened to be passing, innocently by, at 6.00am the following morning......

Oh behave! I reset your evic and had you fiddling with my coil within 5 minutes of meeting you!
I ended up in the park (no roads) in the car for some reason...
We were well stewed Friday night and who had the bright idea of ordering that takeaway ????

and now I'm fretting about food. How far is town and do I bring a cool box rammed with snacks? and drink my vodka & coke at room (tent) temperature?

Town is just up/down the road. I'm taking some snacks but will eat in town at some point.

and now I'm printing out the camping rules - as requested. Due to my printer being a total swine I can only print in blue..... Good job I checked rules, no glass! I'll decanter my vodka into plastic bottles eh

But I'm starting my preparation and plans now.

I got spare biodegradable tent pegs from wilkos. _£2 for 10.. Will bung up tent at weekend to check it.
I'll probably sneak off at some point Saturday for a cup of tea and a break lol

I remember ringing you and you saying you were at the hotel. I think I said 'where the hell am I then?' Lost woman's logic!!!
