No the head is the bit inside with the wick ....cotton Ok, so I've given it a good checkover and it appears to all be OK (as far as my untrained eye can tell). I've taken the bottom bit out, and there's another bit in there that unscrews from the collar (it wasn't tightened down properly, but fixing that hasn't made any difference). I've removed the little metal post from that bit, it's a post that sits just above the bit of cotton that sticks out of both sides. I'm not sure if that's supposed to connect to anything, but it looks like it just sits above a little part that's holding the cotton (could this be the coil? it looks coil shaped). I've put it all back together as it was and made sure everything is screwed down properly, but still no luck I've also put one of the batteries on charge so I can check that as well.

Thanks for the tip, that looks a good price.. I was hoping I could save a bit by just buying what I need to get these clearo's working, but the more I play with them the more I think it's better to just buy another kit and have done with it.

I have a kanger t3d and t3s also and they dont work my egos or my itaste. The connections just don't meet! I use my mini protank and iclear16s on my itaste vv and t3d t3s on my smok tech vmax as they work brilliant on that. I've ditched my ego batteries for innokin itaste vv v3 from www.myepack.co.uk which came with 5 iclear 16s. Love it. Not sure what other batteries the t3d would fit on sorry. Thanks, I've not seen that site before.. I'll have a mooch shortly.

Yip the metal post is supposed to be there that part which screws into the collar is the atomiser/ clearomiser head or coil unit this has to be tight in the collar to enable battery to heat the coil and thus vaporize the liquid

Put it back, if you try and use the clearo without it you will get flooded. It's an integral part of the head.

Sorry should have worded that better I removed it to check it, then put it straight back again

On one, if I fit the clearo directly to it OR via the adapter, I get the light come on but it doesn't work. On the other battery, if I connect it via the adapter it flashes three times, but without the adapter it does the same as the former battery.

must be as rednutt says post is too short therefore not meeting ...but You would've thought that the adapter would've rectified that

Or should I just ditch all this stuff I have and get a kit? I'm working on a tight budget, but to be honest if I spend £50 on a new solution (although I'd rather not) it's still less than I'd spend on cigs in a month.

Fagsareus when screwing the t3d on to my itaste I don't get the same resistance as when you can feel something getting tight. It's like you could continue to screw it only the base of the collar has met the itaste and won't go further so I just presumed the post wasn't long enough to meet it.

Thanks for digging that out I've given it a try, it doesn't make any difference I'm afraid. I think it's time to just buy some new batteries or something. Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply and offer the tips and thoughts.

I got a T3'd today and have had to put it away, it has started leaking and gurgling and wont work on any of my battery's, ie itaste vv3, spinner and spinnerII, and a few others, it worked for a while on my spinner II, then nothing even pulling the center pin up on all the battery's brought no joy, I have emailed the vendor to see if I have a duff one, so shall wait and see what he say's, shame really as it looked rather nice on my SS spinner II .
