I'm using stock dual coils.. But they won't hold up.. so what am I to do? Is there other options? I'd like to turn the settings up for a better vape..

HI tifffai8 something is going on, that doesn't sound right. Your evod coils should be able to take the full 11watts or 5volts that the MVP can give. Can I ask some more questions? It will help others as well who are thinking about this problem. 1. Do the coils blow i.e. go pop, and the don't fire anymore? 2. What wattage setting have you set the MVP on 3. What are the resistance rating of the coils you have? it should be on the pack in Ohms. 4. You say this started when you got the MVP. Did you also get a new pack of coils at the same time? or maybe start a new pack at this time? I have a theory but cant really say based on what you written so far. The coils defiantly shouldn't be having problems with the amount of power from the MVP. I have duel coils and I vape all my tanks at 10watts which is only 1watt less than the MVP can output at its maximum.

You should only need to run at either about 8 ways or 4 volts the coils should not burn out at this setting. However if you're using a juice with a high sugar content it may gunk them up quickly. In my experience a chill COIL (damn predictive text!) should last for between 2 days to two weeks.

Hello Hijack, You lost me on the i.e. go pop, I don't know about this i.e. go pop & the fire? but as far as the ohms my coils are 2.0 and, I backed my settings down to 7 & 3.5....that's what the vape store recommended I try,,, I just don't know but I have the aero tank on it and the aero tank came with coils so I went thru those then had a new pack that now I'm using, and whats happening is it'll have a burnt taste some & then some it just wont taste right, but when I first clean it and put new juice & new coil in it, it's ok but only for short time and thats at low settings to so I'm just lost... I don't know if It's me or what??

tifffai8 Ok iwas meaning do the coils blow like a light bulb would and stop working. but that doesn't matter after what you say I have an idea. First off in a vv/vw device you either use one or the other so you either use watts or volts not both. So the last setting you adjusted is the one it is set on. I had similar thing happen recently and everything was tasting burnt even at low settings 7 watts and the coils just wouldn't produce vapour after a few days of use. It was only after using the 3rd coil from the new pack that everything went back to normal and I could vape at 10 watts again. They must have been bad attys and wernt wicking properly causing the burnt taste. I would try another atty at 8-9 watts as you are obviously not getting a good vape out of the one that is in there. Kanger atties do have a bad rep ATM but saying that the ones I had problems with were iclear coils, so its not just kanger. Your MVP is fine im sure, the fault would seem to be the atty. You could test this... If you have one that is tasting bad and have an ego or evod battery, you can swap over and see if its the same on that, if it is then its the attys. If it vapes ok on the other battery, then you should look at how your MVP is set up power wise.
Edit: If you were setting watts and then volts at 3.5, this would mean you were actually at 3.5 volt and that translates to 6watts which is very low. What DiscoDes was saying about sweet juices may be even more so if the coils don't run hot enough to clean of the gunk. Maybe he will come back and add now that ive tagged him.

Most people run BC atomisers between 6 watts and 11 watts or 3.7 volts and 4.2 volts, if you're going higher than this you need an atomiser that can supply enough juice quick enough so it does not burn. On the other hand some juices are just "coil gunkers" there are ingredients that carbonise and form a deposit on the coil which strangles the coil and reduces it's performance. Then only way this deposit can be cleaned off is by removing the wick and dry burning the coil. You then need to fit a replacement wick to use that coil again. 1. What atomisers are you using? 2. What juice are you using? As the problem can ONLY be a atomiser or juice one IF you're not running the atomiser at too high a power or volts setting.
