Made it (just) to the end of this month for my first vape-spend free month in at least 2yrs.
There always seems to be something i want or need, feels like i've been on a non-stop spending spree, but since the beginning of this year i've seen my vape-spends getting less & less.
Don't know if it's because there's nothing new that catches my eye or the fact that i'm just happy with the kit i'm using, but i'm looking at new kit & thinking i could take it or leave it. Would have to be something very innovative to get my attention at this point i think.
Don't even need any consumables for the forseeable after stockpiling for the last year or so, it's amazing how much time i have on my hands as i'm not reading up on stuff & trying to source kit.
If i'm being really honest it's a bit of an anti-climax, after spending so much time, effort & money trying to get 'sorted', now that i'm here i feel like i'm at a bit of a loose end.
P'raps i should take a look at regulated kit to keep my interest going, i've tried regulated stuff in the past but dismissed it as i've been so smitten with my mechanical kit but things have moved on a bit since then.
Anyone else reached the point where they're wanting for nothing or am i in a tiny minority?

I hope you haven't caught super-shinyitis 300 ... you're not thinking of selling all your lovely kit and going down the spinner/clearo route are you?

300 explore out and get a YiHi SX350 board and try and build your own, the build up to it is a great feeling and with this chip most is done for you as all the wiring has been done, even the USB. Just pick a box and fix it into place (with a few other bits) Making mods now has never been so easy with this chip, plus there is a update for it to go to 50w and firing buttons can also be put onto the cuip if you don't like the tilt....and to top it off it can also be a mech mod

I think I'm in a similar state 300. Only things I have bought this year (apart from parts to build my DNA) have been stock group buys of focal (4 Kayfuns & a Stingray) as they were so cheap it would have been rude not to and batteries months ago, nothing at all in the "new thing to try" category. Although I will have to get some more PG and concentrate this summer, list time I got these in 5 ltr & 250 ml so that doesn't happen often. I have 20 good 18650s, 3 good chargers and > 2 ltr of nic base so am pretty well set. My favourite vape is a Kraken (have 2 clones, 5 spare tanks) and the 5 Kayfun clones + 2 on their way (+ 10 spare tanks) are for out and about so having a better cotton/silica tank is not important as they are more than good enough to keep me off the stinkies. And I far prefer the flavour from stainless steel (have loads of that too & kanthal) to cotton by quite a margin, and don't like the flavour from silica. I am to tight to buy anything that you can't rebuild for pennies so that cuts out cleros, and hate the concept of PV with built in battery (inc eGo types) as changing the batteries is so much more convenient and cost effective. For skinflint reasons I have a few mech clones and a DIY DNA, after 2 of the 3 lavatubes I have and the eVic have all lasted only a few months it put me off spending large sums on these.

I reckon we all reach a stage where we are content with the kit that we have and can see no advantage in trying the "next big deal". I have been very happy this past few weeks with what I have but I still can't resist looking at what else is out there ... human nature I suppose to be always looking over the fence to see how green the other guy's grass is

Got a buddy who owns an engineering firm, would be interesting to see if he'd be willing to knock out a bespoke enclosure for me.

Nothing wrong with knowing what you like & sticking to it. Different to you i don't have many duplicates but i do have quite a few similar style atties that i know work well for me. Similar to you i have lots of batteries spare chargers & supplies, could prolly last till Christmas for concentrates & beyond for everything else

Go for it 300 Nothing better than looking at the end product you made. I'm thinking something like a Shield Mod with an SX350 board might be good, could be more work than my buddy would be prepared to take on though.

I just posted something that makes it even easier on Shinys thread about the SX350, less cutting and drilling.
