@alopezg1 - we mixologists tend to use a much higher nic base, either 54mg or 72mg (the highest we can legally buy in the UK). This means that no matter what percentage of PG to VG we prefer, we need to add a bit of both. The T-Juice concentrates are just that, very concentrated flavour with a PG base. If you mixed your 36mg base 50/50 with a TJ conc it would be far too strong. We tend to mix around the 15-20% area, and you would be mixing at 50%!! It might be easier to use all the calculators and recipes if you got some 72mg nicotine base; it will be more expensive to buy initially, but it will last far longer than the 54mg base because you will need to use less. Also required would be some PG (available in bulk, the best way to buy it, on eBay), and some VG which can be picked up at a pharmacy as Glycerine - I get mine from my local Superdrug and it costs £1.29 for 200ml. Once you have these ingredients at your side, then you can use the calculator at the top right of each forum page (Mix Calc) and all will be much more straightforward. I suspect that the 36mg base you used in NZ was a safer way of selling; with about 20% concentrate it would bring the mg down to around 24mg, which is the stronger end of the juice market.

15% is about spot on for T-Juice, maybe 20% max?
So yes you can just mentally work out ...but if your base is 50/50 at 36mg nicotine you will have to work out what you want final mix to be in regards to pg/vg and nicotine strength, which the calculator added above on site will do all the work for you if you add figures in correctly.

This is the easiest calculation: in an empty 10ml bottle you add 5ml of your nic base , 2ml of flavour and 3 ml of vg gives you 10ml of 70pg/30vg 18mg strength. If you want your juice to be 24mg strength then you would add 6.7ml approx of nic base , 2ml of flavour and about 1.3 ml of vg. Works out approx 87pg/13vg. When I mix I like 50/50 pg/vg. Highest I've seen ready made juice is 80/20. Hope that helps a little but unless you planning to vape 100%pg then you need to buy a bottle of vg as most flavours are pg based. You can get 200ml bottle vg from boots for £1 odds Check out the mix calculator at the top of page and have a play around with it.

@alopezg1 - to further answer your question, yes, the vast majority of concentrates are in a PG base. Don't add any extra PG to the concentrate in the bottle, add it to the final mix in a separate receptacle, otherwise you will over-dilute the concentrate. PG gives extra flavour and TH (Throat Hit), and VG gives more vapour, and a slightly sweet taste to the juice. Some people are allergic to PG and vape VG only mixes, but most people work to around 60/40 PG/VG. DO ask away if you still have any questions!

Ok Thanks i have just looked at my nic base and it says 3.6 % pure nicotine mixed 100% pure propylene glycol. So it makes sense to add VG to the mix .... where do i get hold of pure VG from?

VG = vegetable glycerin, can be bought locally in high street from Boots The Chemist for about £1.20 for a 200ml bottle HERE, an on site link.

Yes that's right. If you need to tweak your pg/vg ratio and flavour percentage you can add all info into onsite calculator and it'll automatically give you the figures.
