I've read lots of forum posts, blogs and watched loads of videos about mixing and steeping your own home made juices but the same question keeps coming up and I can't seem to find a definite answer on which is best/correct.
Leave the lid on .... or take the lid off
Some say taking the lid off is best to allow air to circulate, but some say leaving it off can lose flavour in the mix.
Some say leaving it on is best to allow flavours to infuse, but then some say no you have to leave it off in order to allow air in to it.
So my question is, in your opinion what is the best way to steep in order to achieve the best possible flavour?

Leave the lid on, pop the bottles in a dark place, give them a shake if you remember . . . It never ceases to amaze me, how complicated something so simple is made out to be.

DItto for me - mix, store, forget for a couple of weeks (or a month if it has anything to do with Custard!), and vape. Really simple, and forget all this hype about ultrasonic cleaners, shaking, replacing the air, etc. Just let Mother Nature take her course

right i always left the lids on shake for a bit when i think of it and leave for 3 to 4 weeks. I also squeeze the air out once or twice in this time. works well. I did however read all this lids off stuff and therefore mixed and left 24 hours and then left the lids off for 24 hours, TBO looking at mixes i had done before that turned out well, I found them to be about the same and in some cases a little less flavoursome. so my view is leave them on.
I think u are better just squeezing the air out 1 or 2 times during the steeping.
as u say everyone will have different idea's

So you all agree to leave the lids on. That's good and how I've been doing it so I've been doing it the correct way I will always take the advice of my vaping family (that's you) over random blogs and videos, you guys have the experience and know what you're doing. Thank's for clearing it up
