Best clone by far is the H Cigar version. Can get them from vapegeek for £34.60 + p&p.

if a kayfun whistles, it's most likely to be some sort of obstruction in the air intake. Even a bit of juice can cause a whistle.

if it's a genuine lite +, it's also worth checking that the "anti whistle ball" is in place properly..

If you remove the airflow grub screw from the base of a genuine kfl+, you will see a small green ball. Svoemesto put this in to stop the atty whistling..

No idea on both counts I'm afraid.

had a couple of clones late last year but not sure of their origin. I liked the concept of the design, but wanted better quality..

So now I have 5 genuines.. lol

the airflow smoothness between a supposed 1:1 kayfun clone and a genuine is night and day for me.. only clones I use nowadays are drippers..

then you have the fill valve on the 3.1 which I use daily.. clones use an grub screw..

All the clones I've seen so far have been russians and all whistle but you can shove a piece of rolled up mesh in the air hole to shut them up a bit.

The clones are great for trying out though I find, I started with the clone too, still got it in fact but like Dan the man I too fancied the quality etc from the real thing so took the plunge. I use it every day as my all day main vape so it's going to good use and even buying it genuine it is still saving me a fortune and I got my tobacco on the fly so it was only like £7 for a 50g pouch. That did only last me a couple of days mind so soon added up to a hell of a lot of money.

If you like the clone and are getting on well with it you can always think about the real thing later when you have a spare cash.

the clone i got frome the one stop mod shop with 4 juice channels is really nice,has holes for the coil wire which is handy if your doing/trying silly coil setups and once you have sanded the end of the airscreew flat and alined the post air holes with the deck it dont whistle unless you got a lady boy from a strange country sucking on it

Toss up between the hcigar, vapes etc. Will look at the one you mention as well. Trying to get one where minimal alteration is needed...yeah yeah I know, get genuine lol and not handing waiting for the slow boat!

Mrsmac my Russian clone whistled like nobody's business. I can't remember who it was that said it, but take out the airflow screw and get a small drill bit and carefully push it in then pull it out and wipe it on a tissue ( ) repeat until no more gunk. Worked brilliantly on mine and no more whistle
