I used Vanillin crystals for the first time yesterday. I followed the advice, to half fill a 10ml. bottle with crystals and top up with PG..........it just would not all dissolve. I ended up adding more and more PG until it did finally dissolve completely and ended up with over 30 ml. No probs as it will get used eventually, but next time I will follow the advice above and just use 1 teaspoon in 10ml. of PG Use a bowl/small dish Neil, in about 5 years time. . . it's easier to get them to dissolve and not over saturate your PG with Vanillin. Thanks Perps, but as Ronaldo has said, it may be a little while before I make any more. I actually like it a lot, it has made a very young PVC that had PA brown sugar instead of EM, very vapable. Dont think I will be using PA Brown sugar again.

Just caught this thread and I do like vanilla can this stuff once diluted be used just to make a vanilla vape nothing else or am I better off using flavourart as I currently use @ 20% of my mix this would be a hell of a lot cheaper thoughts please?

I'd say no - it's better as an additive, which it's intended to be. TPA's French Vanilla Deluxe is a very nice Vanilla flavour, you'll still need 20% but somewhere like Liberty Flights with their TFIFRIDAY 18% discount code, does make for a good price on concentrates. Then you could just add 1-2% Vanillin if you wanted colli.

No idea Q. I would imagine it would have a similar shelf life to normal concentrates and should be kept in a cool dark place (mine are on a shelf, but no direct sunlight and as cool as you get in my house). Not very scientific, but I wouldn't be worrying unduly, unless you haven't got through it in the next 18 months or so

Same as Lairey Q . . . the 20ml bottle I made up a couple of years ago is still absolutely fine tucked away with my other flavours. Unless something has a fur coat on it/a beastie swimming in it, then I don't worry.

I'm now deciding where to start my 'proper' mixing, just trolled through shinys fluid thread, that HAS to be done, I seem to have mislaid the 'custard' thread (can anyone point me in the right direction) Where else should I go.....
