I am trying, but it am failing, I can't even mix my adv from joosejuice correctly despite obtaining the correct percentage to mix at. I mixed up a 30ml bottle last night and all I can smell and taste is nicotine. I had a problem when measuring as some of the measurements was 3.33ml for example. I understand the 3ml part, but how the hell do I get .33? please help, I mean how do you get .17 of a ml for example

You're making too large a volume to start with, whilst you're feeling your mixing feet . . . and not leaving your mixes long enough to steep Mrsmac. Eliquid from JJ takes a while to be at it's best - home brew is no different. And I just go to the nearest measurement, don't angst about a teeny amount - a drop more/less won't have any significant difference on your overall end result. But! It needs time to steep/infuse!

Perpetua, I totally get the steeping time, I just thought that as I generally vape the JJ one the day it arrives (fruit flavour) that I would be good to go today. Basically it is my adv but at half the nic level I usually buy because I am using it in the kayfun. I brought a 10ml but that ran out so I am high and dry and can't vape the 12mg in it geordie_vaper wouldn't that put the totals way off cause 4ml would be 0.77 more than needed iyswim?

Mrsmac I only really get it precise as possible when using very low percentages like sweetener or potent flavours also require very low percentages.

just add some VG/PG to the 12mg you have to dilute it down .There was a formula on here how to do it

Something sounds a bit fishy with your mixing if everything tastes like carp!
I find that some flavours can be weak at first and after a week or so steeping they get stronger.
Are you shaking your concentrates before adding them?
Not sure if it makes much difference but I always give mine a good shake before adding to make sure there evenly mixed to start with.

Everyone, thank you! Super-Shiny after looking at your diagram and shouting at the screen that I didn't see it, I reput the mixture into a different calculator. 3.33 turns out to be 3.3 so your diagram totally makes sense as that was one of the syringes I was using, the calculator I was using is so accurate that it shows to 2 decimal places which caused my confusion lol Hopefully I will remix it again tonight, otherwise I can't use my kayfun until the premade shows up, I so want to get mixing right as MrMac has a juice that is costing £50 a month with no concentrate, so gonna have to source and mix it myself! That will be another post!

...... This is why I've all but given up on home mixing combining from flavours, I can mix a good custard but it's not my type of thing except for a very occasional toke. However I do get great results either combining pre-made liquids, adding 1 flavour to a pre mixed bought juice or using Red Astaire concentrate (but that REALLY is a no brainer!)

Mrsmac - even if you vape the JJ stuffas soon as it drops through your letterbox, it has still been in the bottle 2 or 3 days. You need to leave home-made juice (even with premixed concentrates, like the T-Juice concs) for a few days for it to amalgamate with the nicotine and bases. The only figure you need to be reasonably careful about is the nic base; .5ml is nothing however, and will only alter the strength by 1mg at the highest. For all the other measurements, get as precise as you can on the syrning and really don't worry about it, you won't taste any difference between 15ml of PG and 15.7ml!!
