kayfun easy fill help pls

So I've got my recoiling sorted but refilling the kayfun is a hit and miss affair. Is there a really idiot proof way to refill?

Today I refilled without chimney in and juice everywhere of course

erm err eee try putting it together 1st
ive got a bottle with some insulation tape round it
i fill the bottle up to the tape and then fill the attie(tape marks off just right amount for one fill)

i fill from the top cap.....give it half a turn then tilt it 30-45 degrees with the airhole at 12 oclock position then finish screwing on.

give the airhole a quick blow

get a little leakage every now and then but nowhere as much as i did filling through the small hole

I fill from the top cap too.
If you keep you finger over the air hole while removing the top cap and filling it helps avoid leakage. Also once filled screw the top cap on a couple of threads and turn the whole thing upside down(drip tip pointing to floor), remove finger from air hole and finish screwing on top cap. This will work 99% of the time with no leakage.

Is the top cap the thin bit the drip tip screws into?
I have 3 to coil up and some urgent mixing to do this weekend!

Did you see my post about random bottle tops @spikeyfridge?

I bought 10 plastic "shot glasses" from the supermarket. I now drip my liquids into one of these, suck it up with a syringe and feed the Kayfun through the normal base hole.

I only use Kayfuns now after trying loads of other stuff, stick with it their worth the effort!

I fill from the top cap as well.

PS, When you screw off the top cap make sure the chimney has not unscrewed a little, as mine normally do, a couple of threads or so, I use a bit off tissue to grip it and screw it back down.

Good tip, I flooded mine because I hadn't noticed it had unscrewed.

I actually tip mine upside down after screwing on a couple of threads and keep my finger over the middle hole (refill hole), let the liquid settle to upside down and finish screwing on
