Ok so over 10 weeks off the cigs, upgraded from ego to vv/vw, started mixing my own juice so I guess I have no excuses anymore. Time to learn the art of recoiling. With the help of Super-Shiny 's guide I'm sure I'll get there but I'm not sure what or where to buy? could some kind people tell me the wire I need to get started and a wee link of where to buy it and any other wee bits and bobs? Thanks x Super-Shiny I think I may have gunked up the coil you did me for the protank as it tastes burnt. I had custard in it. I rinsed it out and put red Astaire in it and it's fine now but the coil did look blackened. In order to burn the coil you need to take the cotton out? I was too scared to cause I wouldn't know how to put some back with the coil in place.

When I started coiling protank heads I used Super-Shiny guide, also used his shopping links as well to buy the kanthal, they're in his original guide thread, as for replacing the cotton in a micro coil, you just remove the used cotton, pulse the coil to burn off the deposits then replacing is just like threading a needle, but with a tiny sausage of cotton, remember to wet it with juice before you reassemble the head, helps prevent burning the dry cotton, as I found out, yuck ! Lol Also helps with the threading if your tongue pokes out the corner of your mouth , well it does with me anyway, lol Sent from my iPhone using Crapatalk

Ain't seen that one before, but quite a few buy this one: ClickyBetter of with a blowtorch, lighter takes ages and i don't think lighters reach the right temperature......you ideally want a blue flame and blowtorches give that. Or a gas hob would do.

I'm as new as you to this as you are rednutt but after a few shorts whilst I was learning, I can now make decent coils far better than bought ones. @super-Shiny was a huge help for me by just following his guides as they are concise and well thought out to help noobs. I don't have a butane torch as I get similar results using the gas hob but if you have an electric cooker then I wouldn't bother

I already have plenty tweezers and nail clippers. Is that me sorted? any cotton wool, balls or pleat, as long as it's not perfumed. Aparently Boots Botanics are good, but avoid Asda's! Then, yes, that's you sorted

Thanks lairey & Super-Shiny I ordered those organic ones you linked me too along with those cheap bottles 1p + £2.00 postage. Also found some 50ml bottles, 50 of them for £3.68. It was over £6 for 50 x 30ml. All the bottles I ordered from fasttech were hard plastic and difficult to squeeze juice out of.
