Anyone know a source for the little white oring on these. one of mine is missing. Im thinking maybe something else would work, OH has tiny elastic hairbands i could double one up and it might seal. or ptfe lol. Just asking ?

PTFE is safe to use. it is safe on water pipes and the empty spools are great for storing wick that's me tip of the day good luck try it mate it works

Loctite 55 is better than PTFE for an O-ring replacement, it's used on copper to iron and iron to iron joints in plumbing and is very effective and also stronger than PTFE.
By the way PTFE is Polytetrafluoroethylene.
