@scooby, now that really does look nice. Looks fluffy and light which is kind of like cotton wool and the fact that it is organic and non bleached. I dunno, the one I got just has this distinctive smell, after it boiled it and put it in the tank, it had the taste lol

You are making me want to get some of that, it looks perfect. Do you think you would need to double up for say a 2mm coil or use as a singular, you can see how it swells a bit after washing too icon_shoppingm off to order some!

Do report back how you get on

Don't order any Mrsmac I have loads and if it turns into winner I'm sure we could sort out some sort of 'cut and pass on' to keep cost down.

Haven't tried it in any coil yet but it's so 'workable' like cotton wool, that it would be easy to make it fit any dia coil.

sammy13, i have only just had a chance to look into what we were talking about yesterday. Now, i havent inserted the coil into a head yet, but even before i got to that stage, have a look at the pics

After some initial swearing, this is the rico in a 1.8mm coil (from a pack of 50 ft coils), way too much struggle to get in and as you can see the edges of the coil, i would hazard a guess at saying that it is far too big as is to suit this diameter coil.




As you can see from this pic, i managed to get it in, now it was more faff in terms of cutting a strip off the rico which evidently frayed, using my foil on one end i threaded it through the coil



I shall try this in a tank later. The taste i kind of get from it is not a bad off putting taste, there is some taste, but i am sensitive to taste and tend to taste cotton balls as well. I usually find that half way through a protank, there is a wow sensation and the taste is gone and the cotton what i call broken in.

I shall put the coil in a tank later with my usual juice and let you know

Ok, I'm up and running despite the 'you spend too much time with that vaping malarkey' (Wife).

One strand separated and doubled in a 2mm coil seems just right.
Easy to use, wets up straight away and I feel it's much more adaptable to various dia coils than Rico. Early days yet but tastes good, but no off flavours. We''ll see when the coils run in.

I used your link & purchased some of that DY118 from Texere

absolutely rubbish

I put some in a microcoil but the e-liquid just sat on top of it (must be teflon coated ) I then boiled some for 15 mins, dried & tried again, a very muted flavour & doesn't wick very well.

@scooby, that coil and wick looks good, how is it holding up now. Great that there is no taste etc. I actually had put some in my basket on the site but left my card upstairs and little one was asleep so left it! It is definitely not a cheap option but do you think it may be worth it?

I am happy to do another send me round if anyone else would be interested?
