sammy13 Thinking on, didn't you have to change protank coils every few days as you could tasted 'burnt?' I'm wondering if you just have a very sensitive set of tastebuds.. and that maybe why you are sensitive to subtle tastes most of us cant pick up on. Which is a bit of a bummer if so!!

I also think that it may be the size of the coils, I think sammy uses the ft ones which I have several packs that come in at 1.8mm diameter. The Rico was a snug fit and tends to roll itself round at 2mm but does well at 2mm after the initial break in period

I have found some Rico with more reasonable P&P on eBay £3.35 per ball, £2.95 postage (per order not per ball). And it you don't like eBay it is a few pence more here £3.75 per ball, £3.50 postage (per order not per ball).

A bargain considering you only get a couple of meters of ekowool/silica/voodoowool for the price of a ball. At least that was my thought when I spent £11 on 137m of the organic stuff

With custard or chocolate yes every 2 days, it wasn't because it was burnt it was because I couldn't taste much, or it didn't taste nice. Perhaps my tastebuds are more alive than some , well at least some part of me works
How are yours ???

It is tricky getting it in , have to do quite a thin diagonal cut, and twist thin, but then pulls through ok.

I received the Organic Blue Sky Cotton today. No farm yard smell Mrsmac Description is: 'Blue Sky Alpacas Organic Cotton is grown and harvested without the use of agri-chemicals. The colour is a naturally occurring shade free from bleach or dyes' I must say it's extremely soft and much more like cotton wool than I expected. Haven't tried any yet but I have taken a few pics. Top as it came. Middle warm wash with Liquid Soap. Bottom 15min boil. As you can see it's 2ply and they are easily separated and teased out, it fluffs up nicely. Looking forward to giving this a try.
