Just tried some cotton yarn in my rose and ive gone back to wool. Have to say it didn't wick as well as wool so produced less vapour, but that might be just my setup.

Just thinking out loud decoy

I dont know if this helps anyone BUT.. . . . Yesterday I sonic-ed an Iclear 30's bit's n bobs. Now It was well and truly crusty and had been in denture mix for 12 hours but still caked in crud. OK, sonic didn't get crud off. BUT, i realised I'd done it for about 20 min all told and the wick (silica i think) had fuzzed right up. gone quite funny indeed, dried off and it has kinda jiggled all the strands a bit loose. i wonder if sonic-ed cotton balls would do the same thing. maybe the cavitation bubbles are actually loosening the fibers. Thoughts. Very interesting BUT long thread. PS: re-wicked an iclear the other day with 2mm (measured with ruler !!) silicon wick ( ionian please chime in if that is not what the wick material you sent is please) took old wicks out, dry burned coils, poked and prodded and squeezed coils back to where they belonged. resistance stayed ok. wick slips in, snip to length then untwirl et voila. no gurgles, flooding or burned taste / dry hits and airflow a tad better too. run half a tank of bananas n cream and it and the coils still look new after a quick rinse under tap. Mrsmac, @scooby thank you again for your kindness ....my cotton has landed ....oh al of about 20 mins ago I tried the rico ..and style craft ..in coils I had prepared in anticipation ...lol....both are better than cotton wool ...I think but so far the rico gives a much more rounded taste .....I've washed the other cotton and I'm waiting on it drying as I type .....thanks again

Been vaping the organic in a Kayfun V3.1 and a Spheroid Mrsmac and comparing it with the Rico in a Spheroid. As I said to Fagsareus I'll be back.

In fact it's wrong to call it yarn, it's more like very fine cotton wool with the fibers all running along the length.
